"Let's see," She searched for her house and the duration to get from school

"1 hour?!"

"What is?" Her mom comes in

"Here to school? that's so far," Si-ah complains

"No it's not, When I was younger I had to climb mountains under the hot sun," Mother said

"Don't lie, grandma told me you lived near school and you could just walk there in 3 minutes," She said

"Lies!"

"And anyways there's a school near here, I want to enrol you there," Her mother shows her the school website

Beoljib High?

"It's better there, the suicidal rate is lower there than in your current school," She said

"So how many days will I not have school?" Si-ah asked

"4 days?"

"Alright!" She covers herself with a blanket

Si-ah looks at her phone. So many notifications in her 1 week of absence

Even for just 1 day of no school will make her happy but this time she doesn't have to see them. In school at least.

"Mom!", "WHAT!"

"CAN I CHANGE MY NUMBER?" Si-ah asked

"NO!" Her mother shouts from the kitchen

Si-ah sighs to sleep

"I can just block them right?"

At Simjang High School

"Hwang Si-ah isn't going to be in class anymore as her family decides to move houses," Mr Cho, her class advisor said

The whole class including her henchwomen looked at Deokmi.

Deokmi crumples her paper

From outside the class, the mysterious boy walks along the corridors and stopped at a particular class.

"She wasn't lying when she said doesn't want to be here anymore," He said

Monday, Beoljib High School

So many time skips omg

Finally, Si-ah gets enrolled in her new school.

"This is already our second time having a new student," The Headteacher said

"Maybe our school is just that good," He laughs

Si-ah and her mom laughed awkwardly

He clears his throat "Let me bring you to your class advisor," He said

He led Ms Hwang and Si-ah to her class advisor

"This is Ms Yoon, she'll be your class advisor this year," Si-ah bows

"Good morning I'm," "Hwang Si-ah I'm aware, Let's bring you to your class, we're about to start soon," Ms Yoon said, standing up

"See you back home," Her mom waves her goodbye

The Class was noisy, typical classrooms

Ms Yoon walks through the classes, as the class sees the shadow of their Class advisor they quickly kept quiet and got to their designated seats.

"Class stand! Class greet, Good Morning Ms Yoon," The students all bowed

"Good morning class," She signals them to take a seat

"Today we have a new student here," She said

"Again?" Someone said

"Yes the more the merrier," Ms Yoon said "and the more paper I have the mark," She mumbled, smiling

Ms Yoon opens the door, "Class, meet Hwang Si-ah."

"Oh god finally another girl, way too many boys in here," Someone said

Si-ah bows "Hi I'm Si-ah," And I hope you all treat me well she said in her mind

She looks at the class and sees, the mysterious guy, looking outside being all mysterious.

"Eh? That mysterious guy, what's his name? Yeosang?" She thought to herself

"If you need anything you can ask anyone or Hajin, she's the class president," Ms Yoon said

Hajin raises up her hand for Si-ah to reconise her. Si-ah instantly smiled

"Take a seat at an empty table," Ms Yoon said

All the tables are separated :P

She takes a seat that was the nearest amongst the 3 empty tables. The second row cause she myopic or whatever 😒.

"H-Hajin," Si-ah calls

"Umm," She cheerfully responds

Which shocked Si-ah as she expected her to be annoyed at the new girl.

"Is it okay if show me around school?" Si-ah asked

"Of course," She said

After class had ended, it was time for lunch

"You sure you want to give me a tour? It's your lunch break," Si-ah said

"It's your lunch break too and anyways I'll show you those classes that you have to go to, and of course the best toilet in our school," Hajin said

Si-ah laughs "ok," as Si-ah was laughing she bumps into someone

"Watch where you going," He glares at her

But once his eyes set on Hajin, he smiles

"Oh hi, Hajin," He greets

"Hi, are you okay? That was quite a bump," Hajin asked Si-ah

"Umm yeah I'm okay, sorry about that I didn't see where I was going," Si-ah apologised

"I-it's fine," He said eyes still on Hajin

"See you in class San, I'm showing the new girl around," Hajin said, walking away

As they walked Si-ah asked "If you weren't there I would've been killed," She said

"What? Why?"

"That San guy, he looked like he wanted to kill me," She said

"San? Not a chance he's like the sweetest guy maybe he's like that cause he doesn't know you," Hajin said

"You'll get to know him more cause he's our classmate, he probably didn't want to attend Ms Yoon's History class."

"Hmm, I hope so."

What she didn't notice was the mark formed on her left ring finger, a yellow and green star.

"Ah, the first day of school and I'm already liking it!" Si-ah said to herself as she was walking home

"The students there are pretty welcoming, no bullies I hope, everything is going- AHHH,"

As Si-ah was thinking to herself, a motorcyclist hits her

"Oww," The motorcyclist groaned

"Oh! Oh my god, a-are you okay?" She asked the person

"Does it look like I'm okay?"

"Well I can't see your face, you're wearing your helmet, what you should say is "does it sound like I'm okay?" then I could hear your pain in agony," She said

"Shut up oh my god," He rolls his eyes

"This stupid voice is making me dizzy," He said to himself

"What was that?" Si-ah asked

"What was what?"

"I heard someone talk but not I'm front of me," She said
