I blame the rps-
- Controller is a Twitter user
- Badgey says he's a logical person, but is actually prone to emotional outbursts lol
- Similarly, Coffee comes across as grumpy and bitter, but loves sweets and sugar rushes easily. (Where did the grumpy part come from, anyway?? Was it literally because he's coffee?)
- Present was literally made as a Party Hat copy and is aware of this. He never paid mind to it since he was always supposed to be positive until he met Badgey, who helped him form his own identity. For this reason, the two are very close.
- Being specifically a companion robot, Present can detect emotions, use empathy (and can turn it on/off at will), and detect lies. He can also calculate outcomes for anything, which does unfortunately give him anxiety (that he used to never talk about). If his anxiety/fear is severe enough, he'll start malfunctioning.
- Seashell once couldn't do a challenge so she asked Present to help her, which resulted in him breaking. Badgey got really mad at her for it (but has since let go of it (mostly)), and Seashell still feels guilty about it.
- Coffee's parents own a bakery. Also Coffee is nonbinary and uses he/they (look!! A headcanon that doesn't come from Dancer!!)
- Frozen Treat is also nonbinary and uses they/she
- Frankfurter is German and a distant relative of Hot Dog
- Straw was inspired to race in marathons after episode 8. He's not the fastest, but has lots of endurance. Distant relative of Slurpy (but not as distant as Hot Dog/Frankfurter)
- Coffee knows some French from French Fry
- Seashell studies Object History
- Badgey is kind of a workaholic </3
- Quite a few of the contestants have some personal issues regarding the whole 'copied show' thing, and dislike/are uncomfortable with their counterparts because of that. This is true with Badgey and Lemon in particular.
- Radio is the only one who can understand Pebble bc he can change the frequency he hears at, if that makes sense? In the same vein, he can hear a lot of sounds nobody else can.
- Present runs on tHE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP- no jk he's solar powered
