When Yoohan said he was going down to meet Yoon Jay, Prof. Oh replied that he'd come down with Yoohan too. On their way, the old professor kept asking Yoohan about Yoon Jay; his name, his age, his occupation, his personality, when they'd met, how they became a couple—to which Yoohan answered with "It's just happened."
"Is he the one you met with in America?" the professor remembered the time Yoohan always sneaked out after the seminar ended for the day three summers ago.
"...Uh, yeah."
Yoohan was quite flustered about the questions that made him feel like having an oral exam session. The good thing was that those questions help to distract him from the stares and the whispers. And because he walked with prof. Oh, the other student didn't really stare much anymore—or if they did, they did so with more secrecy. And it was almost 5 p.m. on Friday already, so not many students still remained on campus ground.
However, once they reach the stone way leading to the parking lot, Yoohan felt more presence of people, though, for a nice change, they didn't stare at Yoohan.
No, they were busy staring at someone with a supermodel's physique, celebrity's face, and executive's attire that sat relaxed on top of his luxury black car while smoking his cigarette.
"Well," prof Oh chuckled lightly, "He does look like a sugar daddy," and then added when he saw the scowl on Yoohan's face, "or a very rich boyfriend."
The place was actually the faculty staff's parking lot that was used for important guest too, so there was usually not many people loitering around. But this evening was an exception, because where there's a gorgeous face, there would be a crowd lurking around. Never mind these people, Yoohan saw Jay basically on daily basis yet his heart still skip a bit every time he saw that man.
And that smile that Jay gave him now.
It was still mystifying how Jay could change his whole visage from a cold, unapproachable guy to a sweet-looking gentleman in the blink of an eye—a change that only happened when he was looking at Yoohan.
When Yoohan and the professor entered the parking lot area, Jay stood up and put his cigarette off on a portable ashtray. Jay's warm smile was already fading when the two arrived in front of him. He stared at prof Oh instead of Yoohan with a smile he usually wore in front of his executive colleagues—the ones he never trust. Yoohan sighed inwardly and speak quickly.
"This is my supervisor, Professor Oh. Teach, this is Yoon Jay, my..." Yoohan licked the inside of his mouth, "...boyfriend." it still felt weird on his tongue to say the word.
Jay raised his eyebrow while shaking prof Oh's hand, now smiling in a rather more friendly way. "You become rather proficient now," he glanced at Yoohan before meeting prof. Oh's eyes back. "Yoon Jay. I heard a lot about you, professor."
"Oh Se-deok." the old professor smiled amusedly. "I hope I heard something about you before, Mr. Yoon."
"He's rather too private, isn't he?
"Yes, he is."
"I'm still here."
Jay chuckled softly and brushed Yoohan's fringe as usual—at this point, it had already become his permanent greeting, and Yoohan had been too used to it that he no longer care. "Yeah, that's why we said it."
"Enough of that," Yoohan grunted. "You said you'd tell me if I came down."
"You became colder since yesterday."
"Hyung,"
Jay licked his lips. "Sly," Yoohan had learned that using the word had a particular effect on Jay, and had been exploiting it since. Jay tilted his head towards the faculty building. "I have eyes and ears."
