- A Maid's Duty Is To Accommodate -
"Please please please sunbaeee~"
What should one do when a group of underclassmen kneeled, nay, groveled in front of them, eyes glistening with obviously fake tears made of eyedrops, face contorting into agonized pledge, and voice sobbed in perfectly trained harmony asking for a "favor".
One should say no, obviously.
But Yoohan didn't. Because he was stupid and easy and weak to younger people's begging.
Stupid, stupid Yoohan! He cursed himself as he sat down on a chair, being surrounded by three people working on his face and hair, and other people staring at the procession.
After all, it wasn't every day you could see the Lee Yoohan being dolled up with makeup.
"Is this even make any sense? You have a lot of pretty girls, why don't they do this?" Yoohan grumbled, in the middle of having bb cream smeared on his face.
"Ey, boy, you don't understand," the girl, one of his friends who was in charge of his makeup, grabbed his jaw so he stopped moving. "What's the fun in having girl dressed up like a girl?"
"And this is fun?"
"Yes!!" a harmonious voice chimed in from around him. It sounded suspiciously cheery and mischievous.
Yoohan was flabbergasted.
Yoohan was confused.
Yoohan was experiencing culture shock.
And it was within this shock that his damnable fellow student took advantage to put a whole makeup product to paint his face. Yoohan had to exercise all patience he usually reserved for his boyfriend to not curse out loud.
For the dignity of an upperclassman, yes.
The dignity that was being thrown to the ground with the set of costumes he could see being laid out in the corner of the room.
Pressing his lips so he wouldn't slip out some degenerative prose, Yoohan closed his eyes in a sulking manner, arms crossed in front of his chest. Unbeknownst to him, it just made him look more adorable and become the chance for the impromptu stylist to put soft, shimmering pink eyeshadow on the corner of his eyes.
This is weird...Yoohan had never put on makeup before. Even though he was part of the theater club, he was more of a backdrop staff and training partner. Despite his looks and the pleading of the other members, Yoohan never took part in any play.
There was nothing special behind it. Yoohan just didn't want to have to train for the script at home—homes. He didn't want to do it in the presence of his annoying little brother or annoying boyfriend. Both of the men in his life teased him as a hobby, so there was no way Yoohan would deliberately appear all silly in front of them.
So this was the first time Yoohan put on any makeup product on his person, ever. And it just felt...weird. Like his skin was clogged up or something. And why were there so many steps and products anyway? And it took so long!
In his annoyance and boredom, Yoohan asked himself whether there were really people that willing to see this; a crossdressing cafe, was it? Why did his department's students even come up with this?
If Yoohan was to be asked to come to a cafe where there were men dressed in a woman's clothing...
His mind suddenly conjured up the image of a man in maid clothes—and who else was this man could be if not his one and only boyfriend?
But the thought of a tall and muscular Yoon Jay in a frilly maid outfit was...uhh...
Lee Yoohan decided he didn't ever want to invoke the image again, as goosebumps appeared all over his skin.
