Third POV
The girl in the mask scooted towards the unconscious body of Sangwook, checking his vitals.
Minji kept her gun at the ready, not trusting the strangers. Though, she did feel grateful considering that they both chased away the monster.
"He's alive." The girl turned to the man.
The man was shocked, "The monster left him alive?"
Minji scoffed, "No. It died before it could do any serious damage to him." She gestured to the monster's torso, "See how only the arms were monsterized? The body couldn't handle the change so it stopped functioning."
Behind her, Hyunsu looked at her with idolizing eyes. I mean who wouldn't? She's a badass.
"That would make sense..." The girl pulled down her mask, glancing at the monster then back at Sangwook.
Noticing how Hyunsu was standing behind Minji she called him out, "Care to help?"
Hyunsu tilted his head, then kneeled down to help after realizing the girl needed aid to lift up Sangwook. Minji pointed her gun at the monsterized limb that fell as the younger duo carried off the grown man. The thud startling her a bit.
The old man caught her reaction at the corner of his eye and huffed in slight impressment.
As the small group walked to a safer place, Minji tensed. A ringing finding place deep within her ears.
'are you going to join us?'
A small voice called in the back of her mind. It almost stopped the soldier in her tracks but she kept walking.
Her sanity didn't matter when she had to deal with a monster infested apartment complex.

The ravenette side glanced at Sangwook, seeing as he woke up. The girl, which she learned was named Yuri, quickly moving over to asses his injuries again.
"Are you awake now?" She asked setting up medical equipment.
Sangwook turned away, "I don't need any of that."
"Bullshit." Minji called out from the other side of the room. She was sitting next to Hyunsu, looking at his staff in fascination. She was always obsessed with weapons.
Sangwook shoved Yuri away stubbornly, "You dumbass. Your gonna die before you can kill that fucker." Minji called out again, an annoyed grunt coming back as a reply.
Yuri sighed, "Your bleeding has stopped, but your still injured."
"And he's standing up." Minji mumbled, giving Hyunsu his weapon back. She stood up herself, knocking Sangwook back onto the cushion with the light kick of her foot to his chest, "You can't even handle a tiny push. No way your going back out there."
Yuri nodded in agreement, but apparently that meant nothing to the man as he stood back up again and walked out of the apartment.
Minji scoffed, "Men. They don't listen for shit."
Yuri huffed and picked up her medical tray, "Is it okay to let him go like that?"
The old man, Gil Sub, replied, "There's no need to worry about him. I bet he could take in a tiger by himself."
Yuri said nothing in reply but turned to Hyunsu, seeing the blood stains on him, "You look pretty hurt, too." She grasped onto his arm.
Shit.
Slight panic arose within Minji. If they find out Hyunsu is part monster, they'll turn hostile and that is a big no no for the soldier.
"I'm fine." Hyunsu muttered. He had similar thoughts to Minji. They had to keep the other two from knowing what Hyunsu had.
"Move that hand. It'll get infected if you don't treat it." Yuri stated dully.
Hyunsu glanced over at Minji, as if he was asking her what he should do. The soldier bit back an annoyed groan then subtly nodded.
They're gonna find out eventually.
Hyunsu looked back at Yuri, "I'll do it myself. Give me a bandage." This was his last attempt at keeping his abilities a secret.
Minji's eyes widened at the crossbow being pointed directly at Hyunsu's face. She hadn't even noticed Gil Sub walk over! He must've had experience.
But she ignored her curiosity as instincts kicked in. Minji pushed herself in front of Hyunsu, the crossbow now pointed directly between her eyes. She glared at the elder man, "He doesn't have to do anything."
"Why not? He's turning, isn't he?" Gil Sub asked, crossbow still aimed. Yuri turned to Hyunsu and Minji, waiting for their answer.
"Yuri, get away from him." He commanded and the girl complied.
Minji grimaced, "Now hang on. Hyunsu isn't dangerous at all. Put the damn crossbow down."
Gil Sub leaned the crossbow forward, the arrow's point only millimeters from Minji's skin, "Put that hand away or I pull the trigger."
The soldier wasn't phased by the threat, but the younger male flinched. He wasn't expecting Minji's life to be out in the line. Hyunsu slowly pulled his hand away from his upper left cheek, Yuri and Gil Sub having a perfect view of the cut healing completely. No scar whatsoever.
"Get out. Both of you." Gil Sub said coldly, "I wouldn't have helped you if I knew you were a monster. Same with you kid." He gestured to Hyunsu and Minji.
Said girl pulled Hyunsu to her side, "Fine. We'll go." Minji grabbed his bag, dragging him by his wrist as she walked up to the door.
She had enough of this monster shit.
She just wanted to go back to the first floor.
Back to a somewhat safe place where she could rest properly.
Back to Yikyung.
Back to Eunhyuk.
She and Hyunsu froze when they heard the old man laughing his heart out.
What. The. Hell?
"You have such a bad hobby." Yuri scolded but he ignored her.
Minji turned around in pure annoyance while Hyunsu just looked confused.
Gil Sub put the crossbow away, "I was just kidding. You don't have to leave."
This old man thinks he's funny, doesn't he?
