Third POV

~Seven years ago~

"See ya later."

"Yeah, sure thing."

A sixteen year old girl let out a sigh of relief after the other student left the classroom. The two had just finished cleaning duty but the girl wanted the room to herself for a few minutes.

She picked up her textbooks, putting them inside her backpack. Their teacher had decided it would be a good idea to assign three ten page packets worth of homework right before the school festival.

The girl was only in her second year of high school, but she was mature enough to be mistaken for a third year.

She tied her shoulder length hair up into a low ponytail, hooking her bag onto her shoulders.

The girl sighed again, ruffling her hair, 'I should cut it.'

"Come on, just put on the outfit! I'm sure the guys would love to see you in it!" Her friend rose her brow flirtatiously. In her hands was a maid outfit.

Minji's eye twitched, tightening her grip of the clipboard in her hand. She had no idea why the class voted on a maid cafe as their school festival project.

"Jimin, I'm the class President. I'm too busy to put on that stupid outfit." She replied, tossing a few locks of hair over her shoulder.

"Apparently, you don't understand how easy it is to get boys with just one simple look." Jimin hummed, showing off her own maid outfit she was wearing.

"Jimin, please let me do my work." Minji spoke with a warning tone. The other teen backed up while giggling.

Minji sighed, jotting down notes on her clipboard. She didn't want to come to the school festival but, as class President she didn't really have a choice.

Around the classroom, desks were pushed together as makeshift tables. A third of the classroom was separated by thin wooden screens to give the students room to make coffee and pastries and whatnot.

Minji had organized the students of the class in a certain way so that it was somewhat fair for which person.

She had separated the boys and girls into two groups each. Each hour, the groups would transition from working in the classroom, to walking around the halls and looking around other classrooms.

Mind that anyone in the class that didn't go by she or him were allowed to do whatever they wanted as long as they worked an equal amount of times as everyone else did.

Minji didn't want to offend anyone on accident.

The festival was going to start in about half an hour, the classroom was yet to be fully complete. Fairy lights were being pinned around the sliding door and menus were being placed onto the makeshift tables.

"Hey, Prez!"

Minji looked up at the classmate, "Yes?"

He scratched the back of his head nervously, "We forgot to grab the trays. It's in the supply room. Can you go get them?"

The girl clicked her tongue, placing the clipboard on the chalkboard, "Yeah, sure thing."
