KAYLA'S POV

"Gosh I'm late for class." I said to myself as I was making my way through the school hallway, I was literally running until I bumped into a wall and all my books fell from my hands. I bent down to pick them up when someone cleared their throat, I looked up, and saw probably the most handsome guy aka the schools hot bad boy, aka Landon Leroy. He was just drop dead gorgeous, he had the most beautiful grey eyes, with a sharp jawline, jet black hair which fell to his eyes and the most perfectly shaped nose. He was wearing a black shirt and his physic was very visible, with black jeans and topped the look with black and white Jordans. He was just captivating. He was by far the most beautiful sight ever, It was like God took his time creating him. He was like a Greek god.

He spoke and removed me from my trance, and all my admiration was gone.

"Can't you see where you are going or you are just blind!" Landon said, and I was taken aback because I was still admiring him, I finally composed myself and said .

"Mm I'm so_ " I was about to apologize but he cut me off almost immediately .

"What" he said paranoid probably from all my staring.

"I'm sorry I should ha_" I was not even able to finish what I was saying before he cut me off again and didn't let me finish.

"Can't you see where you are going? If this is a stunt to get my attention you should know I am not in the mood!" He yelled.

"I am really sorry it was a mistake"
I apologized to him and this time he did not cut off and I was kind of glad because he was finally listening to me.

"Mistake huh," he said and then scowled at me. "This is how girls like you behave," he continued to say hurtful things but I was not having it, I can tolerate his rude behaviour, but one thing that I can never tolerate is someone insulting me.

"How do you know how girls like me behave? You don't even know me. How dare you say that_ you are such a pathetic ugh!" My voice cracked and tears where pricking from my eyes, threatening to fall, that was one of the things I hated about myself. I could not confront anyone without tears threatening to fall, and to make things worse he didn't even seem fazed. Instead he just patted my shoulder and left with a smirk on his face .

I made my way to class still upset and annoyed I sat on my usual spot. I barely Paid attention to what the professor was saying my mind was still wandering off to the sight of the most beautiful set of grey eyes that probably belonged to the meanest person alive on earth right now, I don't know how long I was daydreaming, but I Soon saw everyone leaving, so I packed my stuff and started to make my way to the next class.

As I was making my way to class, I saw Mia at a distance and waved at her, and she waved back immediately.

Mia is my best friend she has hazel eyes and brown hair, she is all glam and loves parting, we are total opposites because unlike her I have emerald green eyes, black hair with dyed ends with a sharp nose I don't like parties even though Mia drags me there by force, I like living under the radar and going unnoticed. We are polar opposites but we make it work. We are really close and most of the times she spends the night at my place because my parents are not usually around, they are always so busy with work and traveling so Mia stays over a lot.

"Oh my goodness have you seen Londan, he is so dreamy and hot and he is now officially the hottest boy in school !!" She yelled so loudly that I had to cover my ears.

I scoffed at the mention of his name

"Londan Leroy, he is so gorgeous!!" She yelled again.

"Can you please stop screaming." I said to her
"Oh my god there he is !!!" She yelled, even louder I looked at the direction she was pointing at and I saw in all his glory, the most handsome rude guy I have ever seen.

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! His coming this way, how do I look ahh!!" Mia said, now starting to annoy me.

"Shut up" I said to her, Londan and his friends passed by and he winked at me, which caught me off guard and confused.

"Did you see that oh my god he winked at you ahhhh!!" She yelled.

"Shhhh" I said and left her standing there and made my way to class. The rest of the day was boring but I made it through all my classes in one piece. Ashton didn't come to school today and Mia was going to her place so I walked home alone while listening to my favorite songs.

I reached home, took a bath, got dressed, made pasta for dinner, and I started looking for something to watch, after scrolling through Netflix. I started binge watching the vampire diaries. When my phone started ringing, I checked the caller id and so that it was my mom that was calling and I picked up immediately.

"Hi mom," I said enthusiastically. I was really happy that she called, I haven't talked to her or dad for a week.

"Hey sweetie, I missed you so much!" She said and her voice broke a little, and I knew that something was bothering her.

"I missed you too mom,when are you going to be back." I asked, and I was on the verge of crying. I missed them so much but I barely got to see them, even after moving to Rome.

"We just have to wrap up a few things and am pretty sure we will be back in the next two weeks or so." She said sounding very unsure, I let out a long sigh of frustration because at this point I don't know what to do. I missed them so much and they where the best parents, but I barely got to spend anytime with them. "Sweetie I know that this is hard on you we moved all the way from New York thinking that we will be closer and less busy, and that maybe we could spend some quality time together but things are just getting more and more complicated I am sorry this is not what your dad and I have always planned for you," she said. And I knew she was crying from the sound of her voice, and it broke my heart just hearing the pain in her voice...
