Because you didn't know what would happen if you stopped, you ran as quickly as you could. You didn't care what happened since no one did. This was hell on earth. You despised being pursued by ex-friends who had gone insane. You can hide somewhere where they won't find you. You wandered for a bit till you came to a forest.
This was great. A forest was the ideal hiding location. Besides, they may assume you were anywhere at any time, so perhaps hiding here is the best option. After all, there was no one around and you're quite sure they'd given up on you by now. You approached a tree since it was time to build a house.

You have finally completed your tree house. It was stunning. It even had an interesting bridge. Who wouldn't want to live in such a home? It was unique, and you knew it. You entered your treehouse. It was, unfortunately, too late to prepare a bed. And it was midnight, which meant mobs and monsters were on their way, and you couldn't risk dying. You choose to sleep in your tree house. It was difficult to sleep on the floor, but you had no option and ultimately fell asleep.
