CHAPTER 16

Lexi's POV

Today is the day that Jaden and I tell our parents about us, and I'm a bit nervous on how my mother might react to it. As soon as I finish getting ready, I hear a knock on the door, I rush to go open it and turns out it was Jaden. "Hey ma" he says sweetly "Hi jay" I respond, and I let him in and me sit in the kitchen with my mother. "So, mom, I think it's time that Jaden and I tell you something." I say a bit nervous "go on.." she says for us to continue "Jaden and I are dating, we've been dating for about 3 months." I finished, and she looks as if she is confused until she says "GREAT! that's lovely guys!" and I was so revealed that she was okay and cool about all this "Yeah it really is cool, Lexi is the most wonderful girl ever! and she's gorgeous" says Jaden "Right!? I made her she gets it all from me" she smiles and being a bit cringe "Well mom, Jaden and I have to go to his house to talk to his parents" I say "Ok, bye love birds!" my mother says as she opens the door for us "bye!" both Jaden and I say.

Jaden and I have left my house on the way to his. We finally get to the house and Javon opens the door "hey, how'd it go?" Javon ask referring to my mom's reaction "pretty good actually" Jaden and I replied "good, mom and dad are on the couch" he tells us "okay, thanks bro" Jaden says, we walk over to the living room and I see Jessica and Dj on their phones while Jaden and I take a seat on the other couch across from the couch their sitting on.
"Mom,dad, uh I want you guys to know something" Jaden says a bit nervous "what is it?" Dj ask as they both turn off their phones and look at us " so, I'm dating Lexi.." Jaden says straight up "good for you!" Dj says with his arms out in the air "that's lovely Jaden! You guys are so cute! And omg Lexi I'm glad you can put up with Jaden!" She jokes around "Well he is a handful but oh so handsome boy!" I joke back with her.

Jaden and I have now told our parents about us, and it has lifted so much weight off my chest. Jaden gets off the couch and put his hand out for me to grab, of course I take his hand and we walk up the stairs hand in hand as we hear Dj yell "KEEP THE DOOR OPEN 3 INCHES!" omg🤦🏽‍♀️. Jaden takes me to his room and when we enter Javon,Jayla and Daelo are sitting on Jaden's bed "SO YOU GUYS ARE IN THE OKAY?!" Daelo ask all happy and excited "WE GOT THE OKAY!" Jaden yells and we all group hug, we all step back away from the hug "guess we could let y'all go do 'lovey' couple shit now" Jayla says "guess so" Jaden and I say as the all three leave the room.

"I finally have you to myself Walton." I say looking into his eyes "you do, Miller." He says giving me a little kiss on the forehead "can I get a kiss?" He asks so kindly "you may get a kiss.." I say all slow. He puts his hand on my left cheek and slowly kisses me..which turn to a lil tiny make out moment and we pull away "sorry-" He says "no, I enjoyed it Jay." I say "sandlot?" He ask "of course!". During our movie I was drifting off to sleep, I snuggle up placing my head into the crook of his neck and he wrapped his arm around my torso while I tangle our legs together under the blanket. He moves the hair out of my face while playing with it as well. As I was about to fall asleep I hear Jaden say "I 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 Lexi".
