Walking through the amusement park by myself, voices and screams stick to my ears. Both of which having the tones of enjoyment and fun in every single one I can hear.I eat my chili dog and look around at all of the rowdy beauty before my eyes. Saying Hey to people who knew me around. Trying to decide which one of the rides I wanted to get on next.
Riding and experiencing entertainment alone wasn't much of a problem for me.
My mom was enjoying herself with Mateo; Braylen had found his own little group to hangout with; And De, well, I didn't know where he really was.
This day was supposedly for all of us to spend together. But we all just naturally went own our ways after not even 10 minutes of walking together.
It was pretty normal to me.
I hear the highest of screams up from above me. There's a rollercoaster. The highest one in height here.
It was monstrous. Beautiful.
My feet start to move to the long line. Expectation readies up in my body for the fun to come. I throw my food in the trash as I make my way there.
When I arrive to the many people in front of me in line, I notice someone who came here with me.
De's a couple of people in front of me.
I slide my shades down over my eyes and just act is if he's a stranger. Not trying to grab his attention.
He's talking to some girls in front of him, giving them that stupid look of his over the tip of the cup he's drinking from. Already distracted.
The wait is going to be a long time, so social media was a go to.
I open Snapchat and start scrolling through stories. My mind contemplates for a minute on how much of a vibe this day is. My fingers swipe over and I feel like posting about my time.
I select the most prettiest and satisfying pictures I've saved to my memories, and post them.
Next I want to take a simple selfie of myself. My hands angle the camera upwards, not caring about who's really looking at me. I form all types of faces until the right one fits my mood. I choose duck lips.
If I wanted a time to shine, the glitter would come.
"Damn, a supermodel. Let me take that picture from the front camera for you. It'll complement your astonishing appearance even more."
My eyes tighten from shock of such words that sounded like they were thrown towards me. I look into the camera that was still on my face and spot a really pretty boy behind me with his head down towards a tiny book in his hands, but his eyes are on me in the camera.
I turn around and hold my phone to my chest and puff out my jaws, throwing him a smile from such a innovative greeting to me.
"Supermodel and astonishing. Such big words created by the world aren't intended to be used on an assy woman like me."
"I'm Kaido." The corners of his mouth go upwards and I see his dimples.
"Kambrea."
"Hmm...sounds like the name of a goddess. Going right along with those extracting looks of yours. It always seems to connect, I see." At first I thought he'd had some type of disorder. Then I noticed his accent was German. "Interesting."
