"You know what's the most backwards shit in the world?" I asked.

"What?" Chris asked as he closed my door and locked it.

"That your name is Christian yet you do the most unholy shit on a daily basis."

"I do not," he protested, laying down next to me on my bed.

"You're literally in my house, while my dad isn't here, with the intention of leaving me bruised and sore by the time you leave. If that isn't unholy I don't know what the hell is." I laughed, grabbing the remote and putting it on Netflix.

Now, I know. If there was anything I should have known, it would be that hanging with Chris wasn't the right thing. He obviously couldn't understand the concept of me saving my virginity, nor could he keep his teenage fuckboy hormones under control. These were red flags but I liked Chris. Something about his hunger for me was fascinating, which was one of the reasons why I kept him around. Another reason being because he was fine, and messing around with someone wouldn't 'cause any harm. I was sixteen, after all, it was perfectly fine for me to explore. Maybe it wasn't the right person to explore with, but who was I to ever do the right thing?

"Speaking of that, how long he said he was gonna be gone?"

"He said till six, but knowing him he'll probably stay out a lot longer. My brother isn't gonna be here 'till tomorrow morning either. So it's just you and me."

"And your little sister," he reminded me with a smile.

"You're right, I should go check on her and make sure she's not dead." I took in a deep breath. "Xiorra!" I yelled.

"Yeah!" she yelled back.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm watching TV."

"Alright," I said.

Chris looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "You call that checking up on her?"

"You think I'm getting my black ass up off this bed to go check on the rugrat? You got another thing coming," I scoffed. Chris simply hummed, wrapping his arms around me and resting his head on my chest. "What you wanna watch?"

"Whatever you want," he replied. "Long as it's not horror shit."

I laughed. "We're watching a horror movie or you're getting the hell out of my house. Either that or a crime documentary, you pick."

He huffed. "Horror movie," he huffed.

"Actually," I said, changing my course. "We're gonna watch Kate. It's about a super badass assassin who got poisoned. She's so hot. And guess where it's based?"

"Where?"

"Japan, my country," I placed my hand over my heart and smiled. "Tokyo, the heartland. You'll get to see how beautiful it is."
