✧Exclusive interview with Gojo Satoru and Getou Suguru!
We got a chance to interview the Gojo family heir and his boyfriend! He also gives us a look into what it's been like as one of the top students of Waseda despite his family's wishes for him to pursue a different career.

Q: Hi! Let's start off with an easy question. How are you?
Gojo: Splendid as always. (He gives a cheeky smile. Getou mirrors this.)
Getou: I could say the same. How are you?

Q: That's surprising, the people we interview don't always ask the question back at us. But I'm doing well! Thank you so much for asking, Getou-san. Okay, so for the flow of this interview, we'd like you to pick a number. 1 or 2?
Gojo: You pick, Suguru.
Getou: Oh, uh. 1 then.

Q: Excellent! We'll be asking you guys about your relationship first, if that's okay with the both of you.
Gojo: I mean, this is what we came here for, right?
Getou: Excuse Satoru. Of course it's alright.

Q: Alright. For starters, how long have you been together?
Getou: Two years this year.
Gojo: Yeah, we got together in 2015. First year of uni, right?
Getou: Yeah. (He chuckles.) The exact day we moved into the same house.
Gojo: It was incredible.

Q: Why was it incredible?
Gojo: That's funny, way to go for a follow-up question.
Getou: Satoru.
Gojo: Yes, yes. Suguru was looking at the room I think. We have a bunk bed scenario going on and he knows I hate direct light on my eyes so he offered to take the top bunk. Suguru's nice like that.
Getou: Nah.
Gojo: Yeah, you are? Anyway, he had these little glow in the dark thingies that you stick on the ceiling and he put them on the top of my bunk and I told him I loved him.
Getou: It was surprising.
Gojo: As expected from me.

Q: How did you respond, Getou-san?
Getou: I think I was silent for a good half-minute and Satoru left the room.
Gojo: Yeah I thought I was gonna have to move out.
Getou: I think I just short-circuited then.
Gojo: Says the engineering student.
Getou: I did say I loved him too, though. I went out and he was already wearing his slip-ons and everything by the doorway—
Gojo: It was a fight or flight thing.
Getou: I can't believe you confessed your love because I put glow in the dark stars on your bunk=]]]]
Gojo: Anyone would do that if someone put glow in the dark stars on their bunk.
Getou: Fair point.¯\\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

Q: When did you realize that you fell in love though?
Gojo: (He buries his face in his hands.) Oh my God.
Getou: I asked this question to him multiple times before and it never fails to surprise me.
Gojo: Please.
Getou: Do I tell them?
Gojo: Why don't you tell them how you fell in love first?
Getou: You're always the first one to answer, so it wouldn't make sense.
(We cut three minutes off this part.)
Gojo: So it was in high school and me, Suguru, and some friends were walking down some street because we were going to this after-school event. (Getou starts snickering.) And then I trip and fall down.
Geto: Yeah, and then he falls in love.
Gojo: Basically. I fell down and Suguru was in front of me offering me a hand.
Getou: But that's not all though.
Gojo: Yeah, holy hell—his hand was covered in dried up soda.
Getou: (He laughs.) It was payback. I was drinking right before he fell and he pushed me—
Gojo: Jokingly!
Getou: And then I pushed him back. It was actually how he fell.
Gojo: Yeah. So Suguru offered a hand covered in soda and I looked up, and I was just like, oh. I would do everything for him, actually. I'd give everything to him even without him asking.
Getou: You never told me this before.
Gojo: Well now you know.

Q: How about you, Getou-san?
Getou: (He scratches his head.) Aaahh—
Gojo: He's embarrassed. Look at his ears.
Getou: (He covers his ears.) It was also in high school.
Gojo: (He grins.) And?
Getou: It was PE, wasn't it?
Gojo: I can't believe you knew you were in love with me during PE. That's not normal.
Getou: I think we were sparring. Ah—sorry. Yes, it wasn't PE.
Gojo: Yeah cause that's not normal PE if it were. And we used to fight a lot after class.
Getou: Yeah, we were sparring. I didn't tell him I wasn't feeling well. I was sick but we had a presentation that day and I was the leader of the group.
Gojo: It's a nasty habit of his.
Getou: Unfortunately. My body wasn't at its best during that time and I think Satoru was trying to anticipate a move of mine but I didn't do it because I knew I would feel worse afterwards. He felt that—you felt that, didn't you?
Gojo: Yeah. I was trying to block that opening of mine but it didn't matter in the end. Then I thought maybe something was wrong with you.
Getou: (He smiles at the interviewer.) He kind of just knew. He didn't stop but it became...a dance of sorts? He was just following my lead. And he accompanied me home afterwards to check on me.
Gojo: I stayed the night. He had a fever.
Getou: Yeah. Everything he did that day, it was just...yeah. I realized that this was fine. It was nice, and I thought maybe I wanted this for a long time.

Q: That's nice. Do you have plans for your future together?
Getou: No, we're taking it day by day.
Gojo: We are?
Getou: Aren't we?
Gojo: Heh. I guess we are.

Q: How have you survived the pressures of university while pursuing other things?
Getou: (He smiles.) I'm not pursuing other things at the moment, but I think Satoru could answer that.
Gojo: I don't want to pursue other things. And I think a lot of students go to university while pursuing other things, no?
Getou: Yeah.

Q: Alright, moving on. Getou-san, what did you feel about getting in the spotlight when you and Gojo-san got into a relationship?
Getou: I think it's normal. We've been friends for a long time, so it's fine. I've known him for a lot of years now so I kind of knew something like this was going to happen sooner or later.

Q: Would you say you're comfortable with it? You're new to the scene, do you think the attention is something good?
Gojo: He doesn't need to answer that. Next question.

SAZAKI *their lanlord*: (7:42 AM) No worries Getou-kun, rent has been paid.

SUGURU: Thank you for informing me! If I may ask, did Satoru pay in full? (7:42 AM)

SAZAKI: (8:00 AM) Yes. He paid for three months.

SUGURU: To clarify, the payment ends in November? (8:02 AM)

SAZAKI: (8:10 AM) Yes.

SUGURU: Alright, thank you so much! (8:10 AM)
