3rd Person POV
astrid showed up with julie to school the next morning and they walked in to see the teacher already looking at them
"julie, how nice of you to join us" the teacher said and astrid giggled under her breathe as julie shot her a glare and she showed laughing
"i'm so sorry, i overslept" Julie explained
"wow you are a good liar" astrid said and julie glanced her way as she put her hands in the air as she surrendered to her with a smirk on her face
"take your spot" the teacher said and astrid followed after julie as they walked over to flynn and started to follow the movements
"god this is so slow and boring" she stated and julie side-eyed her
"stop it astrid" she exclaimed and flynn looked at them as astrid waved at her with a smile even though she couldn't see her
"astrid is here?" flynn asked
"yeah and she's waving" julie said and astrid smiled brighter
"hi astrid" flynn said as they continued to do the movements with julie
"anyways why didn't you wake me up? i missed my first three classes" Julie asked flynn and astrid
"oh well you definitely needed the sleep after what the assholes of my band did" Astrid stated shortly
"you said you were never gonna show your face at school again . I'm a very literal person" flynn stated
"oh yeah and that, you did say that" Astrid stated
"it's ok. it's those stupid ghosts besides astrid that i'm really upset at. i'd kill them if they weren't already dead" Julie said
"oh wow you just voiced my inner thoughts" astrid said and julie giggled
"having a band is supposed to help your social life, not ruin it" Flynn said
"they've been ruining my social life since we became a band or even friends" Astrid stated sadly
"ex-band" julie said
"right sorry ex-band, but what about astrid?" flynn asked after she apologized
"she can just join double trouble, she's as mad as i am" Julie said and she looked up at astrid
"not as mad but it was idiotic of them and i will definitely join double trouble" she said and julie smiled
"it's all so messed up, i though they were in this with me. but obvious, i was wrong" she said and astrid sighed
"i'm in this with you jules" astrid said
"hey, don't blame yourself. you can only be so strong when three cute ghosts ask you to join a band, i say three because astrid is a goddess on earth" flynn exclaimed and astrid blushed in acknowledgement
" and speaking of cute; have you talked to nick today? he was pretty chatty at the dance" flynn said
"oooo nickkk" astrid said and julie shot her another look
"do you want me to tell her about reggie?" julie asked and astrid shook her head
"no, and i'm kinda dreading it. at least i know i won't see him in this class" Julie said and the boys team walked in
"oh well speak of the devil and he shall appear" Astrid said as she looked at julie and back at nick
"you've got to be kidding me" julie exclaimed and astrid threw her head back as she laughed
"what?" flynn asked
"what are they doing here?" julie asked and astrid fell over laughing
"right on time, coach barron" the teacher said and astrid zoned out as she started to talk to the students. she continued to laugh until nick walked over to julie and flynn walked away with a boy
"oh this is awkward" Astrid said and the song started to play and julie danced with nick as astrid practiced once it was over she left the school
she went to the beach and she sat down as she made her guitar and her songbook appear . this was calming to her, she looked at the sky and she started to hum to herself as a shock ran through her body and she twitched
"ow fuck that hurt" she said and she rubbed her side as she looked around and started to write again. she continued as the pain subdued but it came back not long after, 20 minutes to be exact
"son of a" and she stopped herself as she looked around again and she put the song book down as she made her guitar go away and she stood up. she swayed slightly before she started to walk home singing softly to herself
