Chapter Fifteen 

movies 

3rd person pov 

after reggie found out about star wars, he felt the need to watch every single one of them up to date so he wouldn't be shocked or surprised about anything when another one came out. astrid decided to let him as she knew how much it meant to him. 

she walked into julies room and sat down as julie stared at her and smiled. the two girls had been sisters since she could feel her and they did everything together, the two of them and flynn gossiped about anything.

when flynn found out about astrid and reggie a part of her was sad and the other part was happy that they had each other, when nick came over and gave julie the flowers, it was like astrid knew and every part of her had to do something so she ventured into possession and removing spirits from the inner human body. 

when she was able to do it, she locked nick in a room and forced caleb out of him, she herself alone did it and she knew that it wasn't a safe or smart idea but she had to do it for them and herself and julie. she locked caleb away for good and that was the ending of it all. 

"hi j" she said and julie smiled as she closed her laptop that had high school musical resting on the screen of it, astrid smiled at the sight knowing that julie was getting luke into all the disney originals which she couldn't help but be happy about.

"hey, i was wondering when you would show up. another star wars night with reggie?" she asked and astrid nodded her head 

"yeah luke is helping alex get ready for a date with willie, reggie is out getting us snacks because hes now in love with snickers and i decided that i would come up here and talk to you since i've been with reggie every night for the past week now" she explained and julie laughed. 

"yeah sorry, i've been spending every night with luke too, its not just you, i should've tried harder" julie tried to reason 

"yeah , i know, so how are things with you and luke anyway? he told me about you two but i want to hear it from you" she stated and julie smiled 

"good really good actually, we decided to be together. i think he saw the way you and reggie are with each other and he wanted that so thats what happened. we've been watching movies, writing songs, just everything together. he met my dad" she explained and astrid couldn't help but smile 

"you two gossiping in here?" they heard and they turned to see alex, reggie and luke standing in the doorway. 

"alex, you look so cute" astrid told him and he smiled at her 

"you think willie will like it?" he asked and she nodded with a nod happily. 

"i think he'll love it" she replied and luke cheered with a whoop as reggie walked over and wrapped his arm around astrid, they looked at luke who had a bright smile on his face. 

"i told you, you look so cool bro" he said and astrid laughed as she shook her head and reggie rested his on her shoulder making her smile and sigh. his hand grabbed hers and he ran his thumb over the back of it as he stared at the tattoo of his initial on her ring finger, she had gotten it after she saved nick. 

she thought that she was going to die and never see them again and sure she had been dead before but she knew that this would've been real. she had done her unfinished business, she was living her life because she got a second chance and she risked that knowing she shouldn't have. 

"thank you guys, i have to go but i will be back later" alex stated 

"hey tell me everything" astrid called to him and he nodded. 

"always sis" he said and he walked out before luke launched himself on julies bed and opened her laptop to see high school musical. 

"you started it without me?" luke gasped and julie had a look of guilt on her face making astrid laugh. 

"astrid would never start a movie without me, speaking of, lets go watch that" he said and she waved to the couple as she walked out with reggie and closed the door behind them. the shed was now their spot, they hung out together in the loft as julies dad had put a tv and a mattress up there, he made it a home for them and they appreciated it. 

"so what movie did we leave off on?" astrid asked him and he turned to her as he held up the laptop and the sight of the force awakens shined bright in her eyes, 

"alright, force awakens, lets start this thing" she stated and he smiled at her as he sat down and he pulled her into his arms. he handed her the bag of twizzlers he got her and she pulled out a can of coke putting two twizzlers in it so they could drink it together. he smiled at the sight of it and he turned his head to the tv as he began to eat the snickers he bought and she started to chew on the twizzlers. 

the two of them sat there holding each other close as they watched the movie and realized that there in that moment, they were just reggie and astrid. they survived the great war and they were perfectly happy. 

in the end, it was perfect.
