006 - Run

I stayed in the house with him for a week, gaining his trust so he would lower his guard and give me a chance to escape. It wasn't bad at all but I missed my friends, my mom, and my own bed. I feel like a whale in a bathtub, I want the ocean, I want to be free. I still love him but being in this house made me want to get as far away from him as possible. He eventually got comfortable with me not escaping..his mistake.

It was the 10th night of being in that house, I got up to go to the bathroom, Peter was still asleep and now was the perfect opportunity. I unlocked the window before, oiled it, and now I escaped.

I was out of the house but had nowhere to go. except..Eddie. Peter had no idea where he lived, plus we could go to the high school and hide there. I hit the ground hoping I didn't wake the beast. I ran and ran as fast as my little legs could go.

I finally reached his house at 1AM. I knocked on the door. No answer, but he was here. I walked over to his window and started to bang on it. I peered through and he was sound asleep.

"EDDIE!! WAKE UP!! EDDIEEEEEEE!!!!" I swear if I get kidnapped.

I checked every window and found one unlocked so I just crawled through and went to his room.

"EDDIE!"

"Chrissy?" he mumbled half asleep.

"Tiffany" I sat on his bed

He jumped right up when he realized who I was.

"DUDE WHERE WERE YOU! Me and Dustin were worried sick we thought you died! 10 days not a single word from you" he pulled me into a tight hug

"Yeah um..I was sick you know?"

"Don't lie to me. I broke into your house after the 5th day and got to stay a night in a cell, you weren't there. Chrissy heard about it and dumped me.  Wait what happened to Peter?" he let go and stared at me.

"What do you mean?"

"No one from the drive-in returned except you and hopefully Peter. They found your ex...Jason?"

"Jeff" I corrected him

"Yeah, yeah, all of his bones were snapped and his eyeballs were removed. Everyone there mysteriously disappeared. It's all over the news. Aliens. Do you know what happened?"

"Yea- I mean no I puked and was hospitalized before the movie even started. Peter drove me home" I was the world's worst liar

"Mhm.."

"What? Do you not believe me?"

"Not one bit, why don't you tell me what's really going on princess?"

"I- I can't" I sighed "if I do Peter, he may never let me see daylight again"

"What happened?" he spoke with a blank face pacing around the room as I explained my forgotten past with Peter.

"And now he's taken you hostage in his house?" he asked stroking his chin

"Basically, yeah. I escaped through a window in his bathroom about two hours ago now I'm here"

"Tiffy listen, you cannot stay in this town. He will find you just like he did the first time. Dustin, Mike, Nancy, Lucas, Max, Robin, and Steve are flying out to see Hopper tomorrow evening. I have an extra ticket for Chrissy but I'm giving it to you. Come with us, please" He was on his knees begging for me to go, making puppy dog eyes, and a pouty lip.

"Where's my ticket?" I laughed

"THAT'S MY GIRL!!" He picked me up and spun me around. "You'll be safe with us. We meet at 9AM, Wheelers house."
