As the shattered moon lights the great deserts of Vacuo a man riding his house gazes into the majestic wasteland.
Man: (Narrating) It's said that Remnant was built on fairy tales, tall tales that help us make sense of things too great or too terrifying to believe. This is the legend of the Ghost Rider.
Thunder cracks as the man rears his horse and travels through a river as he arrives at an abandoned town.
Man: (Narrating) The story goes that every generation has one, some damned soul cursed to ride the earth, collecting on The God Of Darkness' deals.
The man traverses through the town as he comes upon the town's church and grabs a contract off the door.
Man: (Narrating) Many years ago, a Ghost Rider was sent to the village of San Venganza to fetch a contract worth 1,000 evil souls.
Frightened by the contract the Man rode out of the town with the contract in hand, only to arrive to another man with horns on his head as he extends his hand for him to receive the contract.
Man: (Narrating) But that contract was so powerful... he knew he couldn't let the God Of Darkness get his hands on it. So he did what no Rider has ever done before:
The Man raises his head to the horned man and suddenly bursts into flames, blinding the horned man. As the horned man regains his sight only to see the Rider disappearing into the desert.
Man: (Narrating) He outran the God Of Darkness himself. The thing about legends is... sometimes they're true.
