RWBY: Ghost Rider

Chapter IV

The sun rises onto the city of Vale as the crowds of people swarm into Amity Colosseum. As kingdoms from around the world gather for this event the announcers introduce themselves.

Coco Adel: Good morning Vale, and welcome to the match you all have been waitin' for!

Carmine Esclados: Indeed Coco, after so many years since the death of Raven Xiao Long and the disappearance of her daughter, the great Yang Xiao Long has returned to Vale to finally show us what has happened in all that time.

Coco: Now don't forget Red, Yang isn't just facing any Huntsman. She will face her sister, Ruby Rose.

Carmine: Alright Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Xiao Long and Rose matchup!

The crowd cheers with excitement as they are thrilled to see the matchup of a generation.

Fan1: Whoo... whoo.

Fan2&3: Yeah! Yeah! Yang!

The scene cuts to Yang looking into a mirror with her shades on as she listens to The Carpenters. Mack walks into the room with the paparazzi outside flashing their cameras.

Mack: Hey, Yang.

Yang: Shh. Your stepping on Karen.

The song ends as Yang turns to the coffee maker and grabs one of the coffee pots.

Yang: What is it you were going to say, Mack?

Mack: I just ran a check on the arena. Everything is good. Crowd's kinda out of control. Yang, you know you don't have to do this, don't you?

Yang: See you out there Mack.

Mack leaves the room as Yang looks into the mirror.

Yang: You can't live in fear.

Yang exits the room as Mack tries to lead her through the reporters.

Mack: All right, Yang, we're just up here on the right.

Lisa Lavender: Ms. Xiao Long, Lisa Lavender, event publicity. I was wondering if you had time for a quick interview?

Mack: Look I don't know how long you've been doin' your job ma'am, but Yang doesn't do interviews, okay?

Blake: Not even for an old friend?

Yang turns her head to see her old partner and lover after so many years she removes her shades to look at her. Blake was wearing a white jacket with long coattails, unbuttoned, showing a black crop top. Tight black pants, with a white belt, tucked into thigh-high black boots. The biggest thing Yang noticed is that Blake wasn't wearing her ribbon anymore.

(Past)Blake: Hey, Yang.

Yang has a flashback to when she last saw Blake at the dorm.

Blake: Hi. Heh.

Yang: I'll do it.

The scene then cuts to Yang and Blake holding microphones as they have a background designed to look like Vale's symbol. Yang then sees Velvet holding the video camera counting down.

Velvet: Alright, we're on in 3...2...

Yang cuts her off briefly.

Yang: Hows your family?

Blake ignores her question and moves on.

Blake: Yang Xiao Long, thank you for talking to us before your big fight. No one has seen anything like this before. A battle not just between siblings, but a battle between two legendary warriors. What's going through your mind right now?
