RWBY: Ghost Rider

Chapter III

Years later Yang is seen riding a hoverbike through the streets of Mantle.

Yang: (To herself) You can't live in fear. You can't live in fear.

Robyn: (On comms) Yang, how close are you to my location, we need backup, we're being overrun by Teryx and Sabyr's.

Yang opened her scroll and found where Robyn was.

Yang: I'm 30 seconds out, I'm on my way.

For the past 3 months, Yang has been lending a hand to Robyn Hill and her Happy Huntresses deal with Grimm that continues to attack Atlas.

As Robyn continues to shoot at the Teryx Grimm the Sabyr's move in closer to their position. One of the Happy Huntresses arrives to her.

May Merigold: We can't keep this up, Robyn. Where is that backup?

Robyn: She'll be here.

As the Grimm advance, they stop to hear the sound of a vehicle approaching as a hoverbike flies into the Teryx, knocking it down. Before it could get up, the driver comes flying down with a fist of fire. With a thundering crash, the Grimm fades away as the driver stands tall and swings her hair around her.

Yang's attire has changed as she now wears a brown jacket, buttoned only under her breasts so that her orange shirt is visible, sleeves rolled up past her elbows. Tight, dark brown pants, with a purple bandanna tied around her left leg, tucked into tanned riding boots.

Yang: You called for backup?

The Sabyr's surround Yang as Robyn sees this opportunity.

Robyn: May, get the civilians out of here.

May: What about you?

Robyn: We'll meet you at the hideout.

Robyn jumps into the battle as she is back to back with Yang.

Robyn: Shall we, Fisticuffs?

Yang: We shall, little bird.

Yang and Robyn load their weapons as the Grimm move in to attack. As a Sabyr jumps at Yang, she blasts it away with Ember Celica, and Robyn slices at another as they take another Sabyr together. The Grimm then have the foresight to retreat as the two Huntresses sigh in relief.

Robyn: Thanks for the backup.

Yang: Same to you.

Suddenly from out of the ground a Cenitaur appears and slams Yang through a building.

Robyn: Yang!

Robyn dodges another attack from the Grimm as she tries to run to Yang's aid but is stopped by a splash of acid, blocking her path. The Grimm starts slashing at Robyn until it stops moving all of a sudden.

Robyn: What the?

Marrow: Stay!

Robyn turns to see Marrow of the Ace Operatives.

Robyn: Thanks Marrow... (Gasps) Yang!

Robyn and Marrow rush over to the building and begin removing the debris off of Yang. Robyn suddenly hears the sound of the Grimm fading into smoke as she returns to helping her friend.

Robyn: Yang? Hey come on Fisticuffs, wake up. Oh, God. Oh, God. Yang.

Robyn smacks Yang's face to wake her up.

Robyn: Yang, talk to me, Fisticuffs!

Yang's eyes begin to open.

Yang: Damn. Is the bike ok?
