RWBY: Ghost Rider

Chapter VI

The scene starts with news reporters at the abandoned dust train site where the Huntsman found a body. Blake Belladonna was on the scene with Ruby, looking at a pile of ash that used to be Hazel. Ruby moves her hand through the pile and breathes out. Ruby sees flashes of what happened here.

Ruby's visions:

Hazel: The Rider is coming. Can't you feel it?

Salem: I do. Get to your positions.

Mercury: Do you think we can kill it?

Tyrian: (Laughs) I hope not.

Mercury: (Scoffs) Freak.

End of visons.

Ruby gasped from what she could hear. She recognized Tyrian and Mercury's voices, but couldn't make out the other two. Blake kneeled down to Ruby.

Blake: Anything helpful?

Ruby: Tyrian Callows and Mercury Blake were here with two others whom I do not know.

Blake: Anything else?

Ruby: This ash pile belonged to the other man that was with them. He seemed scared.

Blake: Of what?

Ruby: He said, The Rider?

Blake looked confused until her Faunus ears perked up to the sound of Captain Dolan approaching.

Blake: Ruby, take this info to Ozpin. He'll need to hear this too.

Ruby: What about you?

Blake: I'm gonna see if I can get some inside info.

Ruby heads toward Beacon as Blake walks up to Dolan.

Blake: Captain Dolan.

Dolan: No comment.

Blake: Captain I'm not a reporter.

Dolan: My answer will still be the same.

Blake: Do you think there is a connection between the biker-bar massacre and last night's victim here at the dust train?

Blake watches as the cops walk by her and sees them carrying a body strapped to a gurney as an arm slips out of the covering that was covering the whole body. Blake covers her mouth as her ears drop down for a second until she returns to Dolan.

Dolan: Does that answer your question?

Blake: Why don't we compare notes Captain?

Dolan: Why don't you just go back to Menagerie, freak.

As Dolan walks away Blake gives him a disappointed look. After everything, she has done to bring peace between humans and Faunus, there are still people like Dolan that are discriminatory against her and her kind. The scene then cuts back to Yang sitting in a chair with her jacket off as the Caretaker is stitching her wound on her shoulder.

Caretaker: The Rider's the God Of Darkness's bounty hunter. Sent to restore the balance of power when it is threatened. (Holds a metal hook next to Yang) Sterilize that for me.

Yang: Sterilize.

Yang holds out her hand like she is trying to use the Ghost Rider powers to heat it.

Caretaker: In the boiling water.

Yang would have been called a dolt by Weiss if she was here.

Yang: Right. Okay. (Grabs the hook and puts it in the boiling water) A little confused.

The Caretaker grabs a cotton ball and a medical bottle of alcohol and dabs the cotton ball before rubbing it on the wound.

Caretaker: During the day you'll be normal. But at night... in the presence of evil, the Rider takes over.
