Mercedes, Inferno

"Hey, Mercedes," Sam greeted as he walked up to her in the hall.

"Hey, it's us!" Sam chuckled in disbelief as he watched the scene.

"I can see that, Sam," Mercedes grinned, holding his hand. "It is still so weird that we're watching our lives on TV."

Kurt is seen poking his head to the side curiously in the distance.

Blaine looked at his boyfriend in amusement.

Sam continued. "I know we haven't talked much, but I have something that I need to show you."

The bell rings and Mercedes and Sam are sat in a classroom. Mercedes sighs. "No more songs, Sam."

Mr Shue and Rachel seemed offended by that statement. They shook their heads in unison as Kurt rolled his eyes.

"One more." Sam opens his laptop and takes a seat. "Don't worry. This time I'm not the one singing."

Sam shows her a video on YouTube. It is of Mercedes singing 'Disco Inferno.'

Mercedes shared a proud smirk with Santana and Brittany.

"That's me." She paused. "Wait-- did you post this to YouTube without asking?"

"That is not cool, Sam." Mr Shue scolded, sitting up in his chair. "Ask first, okay?"

"Yes, sir."

"Can you hear yourself?" He beamed. "You're amazing, and you look stunning."

Mercedes smiled as she looked at the screen. The video was at 485 views.

"Woah!" Puck nodded in appreciation.

"Nice," Santana grinned.

Mike smiled. "That's great, Mercedes!"

"485 comments." She shook her head. "Mm, I can't look."

"No way!" Artie grinned, "everyone who watched the video commented! That's awesome!"

"No. Look." He scrolled down. "484 of them are positive. One of them was disappointed because they thought "Mercedes Inferno" was a car-fail video."

"I have got to agree with those lovely comments, Mercedes. That performance was brilliant."

"Thanks, Rachel."

"I can't believe you did this for me." She looked at Sam. "Why?"

"Because I believe in you and what you could become. Now complete strangers believe in you, too. You just need to find a way out to L.A. and do your thing. It's time for this dream to stop being a dream and become a reality."

"That is a pretty good speech," Tina complimented with a pleasantly surprised expression.

Kurt agreed, "yeah, very motivational. I'll give it a 9/10."

"Watch out, Mr Shue." Quinn smirked. "Sam could take your job."

Mercedes sent Sam a loving glance as she smiled.

"Listen to them." Sam continued. "They all want to buy your album, and so do I. You ain't no skim milk, baby. You're the cream rising to the top."

Mercedes laughed as they shared a sweet kiss.

"Why is there so much kissing?" Sue groaned. "Don't you have homework to do?"

Blaine ignored her. He smiled, "that was really sweet."

"Yeah, it was." Mercedes and Sam held hands and beamed as the next scene began to play.
