The scene begins with Santana and Rachel in a diner. They are wearing the same red uniform. Santana is refilling the salt shakers.

"Santana!" Sam grinned in amusement, "you work with Rachel."

"What sort of hell is this?!" Santana exclaimed dramatically, looking around her for an escape.

Kurt smirked as Rachel rolled her eyes.

"I'm quite surprised that I'm working in a diner instead of broadway..." she muttered. "But I suppose it's a good way to connect with the locals. A star has to remain grounded, you know."

"I hate you," Brittany sighed under her breath.

"That's it." Rachel sighed, slamming a notepad on the counter. "My dreams of playing Fanny Brice are over."

Mr Shue shook his head. "You should never give up Rachel!"

"I disagree," Sue retorted.

Santana sighed, "I'm sure it isn't over."

"You're trying so hard not to roll your eyes right there," Blaine chuckled.

Puck crossed his arms, "why are you being nice to Rachel? You're never nice to Rachel."

"How the hell am I supposed to know, Puckerman."

"If I got it, I would've heard by now. Okay? And the thing is, is that I wasn't just auditioning for this for myself. I was auditioning for everyone at McKinley. Okay?" Rachel admitted as Santana gave her a look.

Tina pretended to gag as Mercedes rolled her eyes at Rachel.

"That is so nice of you, Rachel," Mr Shue nodded in approval.

"I wanted to show that we're talented enough to make it in this insane business."

"I hate to break it to you, kiddos, but you're not." Sue shrugged, "I've been telling you this for years."

"Okay, well, one of us sort of already did." Santana added with an excited smile. Rachel looked confused.

"San!" Brittany squeezed her hand with a proud smile. "That's awesome!"

Santana smiled bashfully as everyone gave her a congratulatory nod.

All except Rachel.

"You beat me!?"

"I booked a commercial. It's a little embarrassing, because it was for that yeast infection medication, Yeast-I-Stat. But they sent me a rough cut." Santana took out her phone, "Do you want to see?"

"Wait..." Quinn tried to cover her smile with her hand. "It's a commercial for a what?"

Santana's face dropped, "oh... oh no-"

"Yeah." Rachel smiled.

Artie snorted in amusement, "that's the fakest smile I have ever seen."

The commercial showed Santana rolling out some dough in a kitchen. She looked at the camera and smiled, "let's face it. There are good kinds of yeast, and bad kinds of yeast."

"Santana, you're gonna be on TV!" Brittany cheered.

Santana shrank in her chair, "this can not be happening."

She picked up a box, "But bad yeast goes scat with Yeast-I-Stat."

"It's happening," Mike chuckled.

The scene changed to show Santana frolicking in a garden with a ribbon. Her voice narrated,
"Burns and itch are a thing of the past. And Yeast-I-Stat's Seven Easy-Step Application makes feeling fresh a breeze."

Santana covered her face with her hands as Puck and Quinn chuckled.

"This is brilliant," Mike laughed.

Britt nodded sincerely.

Santana is seen in the kitchen with a basket of bagels, "I like yeast in my bagel... but not in my muffin." She took a bite from the bagel.

"Oh my God," Quinn guffawed, "Oh I wish I had a camera."

A myriad of scenes are shown of Santana frolicking outside with bubbles.

"This is the happiest I have ever seen Santana," Finn smirked, "and it's in a yeast commercial."

"Screw you, Hudson."

"Did you hear the news? Let's have a chat, bad yeast goes scat, with Yeast-I-Stat."

"This is burned in my memory now," Artie chuckled. "I'll bring this up all the time."

"You do that and I'll steal your girlfriend again."

Artie frowned, "that crossed the line."

The commercial ends with a picture of the box and Santana in the background happily yelling, "I'm free!"

"San! You could go on Fondue for two as a celebrity guest!" Britt beamed.

Santana groaned; shrinking further in her chair.

"I'm so glad that's over," Sue murmered.

"I'm not," Mercedes chuckled.

Sue glanced at her cheer co-captain, "I'm going to pretend I didn't see that, Sandbags. For your sake and my own."

"Wow." Rachel paused as Santana put her phone down.

"Wow' is one way to put it," Kurt smirked.

"That's... that's great."

"I need to work on my lying," Rachel noted, leaning back in her chair.

"Honestly, if it were anyone else, I'd be so jealous, but I'm... really proud of you." Rachel smiled.

Santana peeked a look behind her fingers, "did Rachel Berry just say she was proud of me?!"

"I don't know what's scarier; that commercial or the idea of Rachel and Santana being friends," Sam added jokingly.

"Thank you." Santana beamed before engulfing Rachel in a hug. She chuckled, "thank you."

"This is weird," Quinn noted. She pointed at the screen, "I don't like this friendship."

"Why?" Rachel gasped, turning to look at Fabray. "I think our voices match quite well. It only makes sense that we become friends eventually."

The scene ended on Rachel's worried expression.

Mr Shue turned to Santana with a proud grin, "it's great to see that you put yourself out there Santana!"

"Please stop," she groaned. "That was humiliating."

Sam smirked, "I like yeast in my bagel but not in my muffin!"

"I will throw my shoe at you."
