Me and Gerard made our way to our seats and placed our bags underneath, I was glad of the fact that we arrived at our classroom just right after the bell rang so we were not late.
I sighed, I opened my bag and searched for the things I'll use my sketchbook and pencil case. I placed the things aside, I then crossed my arms, and laid my head against it.
The teacher got up from her seat and started the lesson, while the teacher is discussing today's topic, I slowly turned my head at Gerard who was sketching something in his book.
I got up and take peeked at what he was drawing, it was concept art of Batman in his art style. The torn-out cape of his, the incredible shading, the amazing suit he drew for him, a sketch of what will his eyes look like, the art was fantastic! For a few seconds, Gerard noticed me glaring at his sketchbook, and he quickly closed it shut.
"No need to hide it from me, Gerard, by the way, I like your art style!" I said as I leaned my head against my hand and glared at him. He slowly looked away, blushing, and opened his sketchbook
"Thanks.." he muttered.
He then continued drawing his art
"Is it Batman you're drawing-" I got interrupted by my teacher.
"Y/N please enough with the chitchatting with your seatmate and focus on the lesson!" I apologized and closed my mouth shut, Gerard scoffed.
Time passes by, In the middle of the lesson, another adviser entered the room to inform our teacher that she got a call from the principal. She excused us and instructed us to behave and study our books as she left the room, the rest of the students are just messing around and went to other people's desks to talk with them.
I yawned, opened my sketchbook, and took out my pencil, I then continued to sketch the art for my nature-themed art project.
I gently pressed the pencil into the paper and drew the baseline of the tree, I drew tiny strokes of lines to the branch to form leaves.
Then I draw the bushes, flowers, rocks, and the ground and finally, I can add the shading.
Adding shadings to the drawing makes the art more realistic and very amazing to look at, I drew little squiggly lines to form vines and added leaves to them, adding tiny strokes of lines to form grasses, and... BOOM, a masterpiece has been born!
I glared at it for 3 minutes straight and I was proud of myself
"Not bad, the art looks good." I turned around to see Gerard staring at my sketchbook
"Thanks! By the way, do you have any drawing ideas for the art project?" I said as I closed my sketchbook and placed my pencil in the container.
"Well.... I got one, hold on" He then searched for the drawing by flipping the pages of his book, the pages of his book are filled with many arts, from vampires to concept art of characters in comic books.
He then and hand it to me, the art was about a realistic skull with flowers coming out of its eyeholes, most of them were red and black roses, vines surrounding the top part of the skull to form a crown, he used colored pencil to color and shade the art
"It looks pretty sick!" I then hand him back his sketchbook. 'Thanks' he mumbled and continued to finish his Batman concept
"Speaking of those comic characters you drew on that book, do you read like, comics?" I asked
"Yeah, a lot. My favorite one is 'The Filth'. It's pretty cool to read since it has weird and unique art, a weird story plot, and um.. Other things, you can see it for yourself-" The teacher finally returned to the classroom and apologized for the waiting, I placed my sketchbook back in my bag and she proceeds to start the lesson.
Time skip: To Music Class
I entered my Music classroom which only has a few people, the walls were plain white, students playing the instruments, and different kinds of guitars hung on the walls
Drums, Pianos, Speakers, and other things are all over the place.
