━━ "What you mean? You feel like you know what's going on over there?" The three of them looked at her. Confused expressions all over their faces. As if she had something to do with it or was a murderer.
"From the name, it could be a kidnapping." Summer guessed, not exactly knowing but somehow felt like that was the situation. There was a quite a bit of missing children cases back in Michigan. "Besides, who names their pet 'Will' or searches for their pet at night. And you please stop looking at me like I'm a fucking murderer!" She yelled, not wanting to be loud. The three stopped staring at her quickly and acted casual.
Boom!
Summer and the group then jumped at the sound of thunder and lightning. Flashes of lights appearing in the sky. It was going to storm out, bad. Summer sighed in relief of finally being able to head inside. The bug bites and the cold bothered her.
"Now look what you did, Summer." Stacy laughed at the joke, the other two joined in as well. The four of the teens headed inside, to shelter from the storm. Leaving the bonfire going on, as it calmed down from the rain down-pouring. "Great! It's down-pouring outside and I have to walk ten blocks home!" Stacy grumbled, knowing she was in her best outfit and nice boots.
"Wait, didn't you get a ride from Spencer here?" Summer asked with a confused expression. How could a Stacy walk ten blocks home when she was in the car with Spencer? Summer thought, deeply confused.
"Yeah, but I had to walk ten blocks away from the house because my parents were home and Spencer wanted to meet up at a tiny shop." She grumbled in annoyance. The alcohol getting to her within the past hour.
"And I told my parents I was staying the night at a friends house," Spencer crossed his arms wanting to be apart of the conversation. Mainly because he couldn't drop Stacy off at home and go home. They'd both be screwed.
Steve stepped into the room holding a tray of snacks, board games, and card games. "Ok, calm down everyone." He yelled as he placed stuff onto the cabin floor. "You can all stay here tonight."
"You have room for all of us?" She asked dryly while eating a handful of M&M's. Noticing Spencer and Stacy exchanging glances to each other.
"I have two big bedrooms, a tiny storage room, and the couch to sleep on tonight." Steve replied to Summer's question. "I can have a room. Summer can have the storage room, and Stacy and Spencer can sleep on either the couch and other bedroom. If the storage room is a mess, Summer can sleep in my room."
"No way in Hell am I sharing a room with you,"Summer scoffed and crossed her arms. And if she had to, she's not sleeping in the same bed with him. She had a rather sour expression on her face.
"Ok, and I meant that as in sleeping on the floor. The bed isn't even that big," Steve gave her detail of the room. Not trying to get her to sleep with him but just a place to sleep if the storage room was trashed. Besides, he had a girlfriend.

"I'm bored, how about truth or dare?" Stacy smirked. Hanging upside down from the end of the couch like a child. The other three glared at her and munched on snacks.
"Ok," Summer smiled, hoping nothing would go wrong or have her do anything stupid. Especially if it involved Steve, she disliked him. He was nice and all, but he wasn't likable by her.
"No. No," Steve replied to Stacy's suggestion of playing truth or dare. He shook his head and looked at Summer then back to Stacy and Spencer. "We're not playing truth or dare."
"Why not? Steve, is there something going on? You usually want to play truth or dare any other time," Stacy mumbled.
"Because I had a lot to drink and I think we should all head to bed. Besides if we play truth or dare, it'll become chaotic and things will get broken. This isn't even my place."
"Wow, Steve. You have gotten real vulnerable quickly." Laughing coming from the two of his friends.
The storm rattled outside, gusts of wind hitting the windows. One of the trees branches scrapped against the window. The group got up to clean things up and started heading to their rooms to sleep. Summer and Steve were the last two up.
"Looks like the storage room is packed with his stuff," Steve commented as the tiny room was filled with his grandpa's things. "You can sleep on the floor of my room. Here's the blanket and pillow," he passed to the blanket and pillow to her.
Summer laid on the uncomfortable floor that felt like a rock. Luckily, the cabin floor had carpet in the bedrooms or she wouldn't be able to sleep. "Steve?" She asked while facing the window and cold air swept through the room.
"Yes, Summer?"
"Why didn't you invite your girlfriend?" She asked, knowing that Steve was with Nancy and wondered why he didn't invite Nancy instead of her.
"We are having relationship problems," he mumbled and sighed. Summer knew he was sad and regretted asking him anything. Steve sat up onto his bed, wanting to say something but decided not to.
"Also, don't worry about driving me home early in the morning. I have clothes in my bag that I brought just in case I got cold or ruined this pair." She said, trying to help him out. So he didn't have to worry about driving her home in the morning and just drive themselves to school.
"Ok. Well, goodnight."
"Goodnight, Steve."
