Y/N's POV:

"Oh my god, are you serious?!"
I literally jump in excitement during a phone call with editor.

"Yes, Y/N. We are interested in publishing your book, but first of all come to our office and we will talk about details, alright?"

"Of course, yes."
I calmed down and change my voice tone.

"Goodbye and once again, congratulations. Not every young writer as you have such a opportunity." The editor says.

When the conversation ended, I let out my loudest scream of happines. My frightened roomate Rachel runs into the room.

"Y/N?! What happend?" She asks.

"I'm going to be famous!! Oh my god, I can't believe it!" I answer her, still screaming.

"What? What are you talking about?"
She asks again.

"They want to publish my book! Do you understand that?!"
I threw myself on Rachel and hug her.

"What?! Really?"
Her mouth is open in shock.

"Yes" I smile.

"That's amazing!! I knew it! This book is brilliant" She hugs me.

"I still can't believe it"
I sigh and sit on sofa.

"So, what's next?" Rachel asks.

"I will have an appointment with them, and then we will see." I answer.

"I'm so proud of you, girl" She smiles.

"Now nothing can destroy my happiness"

a few days later...

"Good morning. I have an appointment with Mrs. Miller." I say to receptionist.

"One moment please" She grabs a phone.

Meanwhile I look around the office. Wow, everything looks so fancy. I can't wait to work here.

"Mrs. Miller is waiting for you in room 24"
The receptionist says.

"Thank you" I smile.

This bulding is so big and I got lost.
I can't find this fucking room. Suddenly I spot extremaly elegant woman with black sunglasses. I would rather not to talk with her, but I'm already late for appointment so I have no choice.

"Excuse me" I say.

She stops, places sunglasses on tip of her nose and looks at me.

"Yes?" I heard her cold tone.

"Could you help me? I can't find Mrs. Miller's room." I awkwardly smile.

"It's on the 3rd floor. When you come out of the elevator the first door on left"
She says and her facial expression did not change even for a second.

"Thank you so much" I smile.

She didn't answer me, just straightened her sunglasses and left.

"What a bitch"
I roll my eyes and whisper to myself.

When I finally found a correct room I knock the door.

"Come in!" I heard a voice.

"Good morning, Mrs. Miller. I'm so sorry for being late..."

"No problem, Y/N. Sit down please"
She smiles.

Wow, someone in this bulding know what smile and kindness is.

"Y/N, I need to inform you about something" Mrs. Miller says.

"I'm all ears" I smile.

"Some changes have taken place..."

With this sentence my smile immediately disappeared.

"We still want to work with you, but with one exception."

"Wh..What exception?" I ask.

"We have two amazing writers, but only one book can be published. So our boss want you two to write your common book."

"What?" I ironically laugh.

"Calm down" She says.

"Calm down? You are literally declining my book" I answer.

"We are not."

"Ye.." I started, but she cuts me off.

"The good news is, you two have books in simillar topic. You only need to combine your ideas" Mrs. Miller explains.

"I understand..." I answer.

"So.. Do you agree?" She asks.

"Ye..Yes" I sigh and smile.

"Excellent! So, tomorrow at 9 a.m there will be your first meeting with Lana Winters."

"Lana Winters?" I ask.

"Your coworker"

"Oh" I smile. "Okay" and say.

"I'm sure, you will be satisfied. Lana Winters is an amazing writer" She smiles.

"Thank you and see you tomorrow."
We shake our hands and I left.
