Y/N's POV:

"Y/N, what happend? Why are you so late?"
Rachel asks as I come home.

"I had to stay a little bit longer." I answer.

"Are you okay??" She asks.

"Yes, I'm just so tired." I answer and go to my room.

I sit on my bed and stare at wall. In one night I felt all kind of emotions. I'm so lost in my own thoughts. I decide to go to sleep and give my mind a break and stop constantly think what should I do next.

The loud noise of door wakes me up. I barely open my eyes and I see that somebody is sitting next to me.

"La..Lana?" I open my eyes and ask.

"It's okay." She strokes my face.

"What are you doing here? How did you get in? How do you know where I live?"

"Stop asking so many questions, princess." Lana smiles. "I'm here to tell you, that I finished everything. I'm free now, we are free. We can be together... forever" and adds.

"Wha..." I start.

"It's going to be okay..." She cuts me off.

"How did you finish this so fast?" I ask.

"I would do anything for you" She answers.

"But.."

"I love you. You and only you, darling."
She cuts me off and kisses me.

And I wake up. So confused, that I needed a moment to acknowledge that this was only a dream. My body is all hot and sweaty, but this helped me to realise, that I don't want to wait for Lana. I want her now. But on the other hand I don't want to ruin her plans neither. Tomorrow it's going to be hard day...

The next day I'm sitting in my office. I haven't seen Lana yet and I worried about her. I don't know what she did after our talk. Is she even planing to show up today?Suddenly my assistant comes in.

"Y/N?" She says.

"Yes?"

"Alice Moore wants to see you" My assistant answers.

Of fuck.

"Why?" I ask.

"I don't know, she just told me that"

"O..Okay"

I took a deep three breaths in front of her office and I come in.

"Ms. Moore?" I make a fake smile.

"Good morning. Please sit down, I have a news for you" She answers.

"No, thank you. I'm good" I answer.

"Okay, but after that I doubt that you will can just stand like that" Alice laughs.

What the fuck? I'm scared.

"Your book with Lana is amazing. You are so talented. We want you to stay here longer and write another book for us. This time it will be your book only."

For what? For you to steal that?

"Y/N? Are you still here?" She laughs.

"Yes, yes. But I'm surprised" I answer.

"You shouldn't be. Your work is amazing"

"Thank you" I smile.

Lana's POV:

I walk through hall and spot Y/N. Wait a minute... In Alice's office?! My heart starts immediately beats like crazy. I'm scared. Does she hate me? Does she tell her everything? Oh my god, I'm so screwed. Suddenly Alice starts to waves. She spoted me. Fuck, now I have to go in there.

"Alice? Good morning, Y/N." I say.

"Good morning to the most beautiful woman in this world" Alice answers.

I only smile.

"I won't get any kiss?" Alice laughs.

I clear my throat, walk towards Alice and give her a quick kiss.

"I should propably go. Have a good day"
Y/N says and immediately leaves.

I tried to talk with Y/N all day, but it seems like she was avoiding me. It's weird. I thought we are good. But it isn't surpising me, what was I expecting? Y/N definitely doesn't want to waste her time and wait for me.

I'm standing and waiting for elevator. Y/N comes and places herself next to me. She didn't tell anything.

"Y/N, are you avoiding me? I really want to talk with you." I finally ask.

"Of course I'm not. I just don't have time"
She answers.

I wanted to answer her, but the elevator arrives. We walk in. Only us. Standing in silence. Suddenly, the elevator stops. We look at each other. I'm not worried, because this is normal in this company. The elevator break down at least 2 times a week.

"Looks like, you have plenty of time, now"
I say and smile.
