Elizabeth Olsen/Scarlett Johansson one shots

Warnings- Reader is deaf, not sure if it's a warning but better safe than sorry :)

Lizzie's pov:

Today there's a new person joining the team. She's called Yn and Joe Russo was telling us about how she's deaf. I cant wait to meet her! She sounds amazing and I have actually seen a TV show she stared in so that'll be exciting as she was very good in that. Yn will play a Russian spy just like Natasha who lost her hearing when the red room got taken down and exploded. Yelena, Natasha's sister saved Yn's character, Lila, and Yn's character is staying with Natasha in the Avengers Compound. Hopefully Yn will bring a good range of diversity to the team both in the movie and in real life.

"I cant wait to meet Yn!" I say to Scar who feels the same. "Me either. We get another girlfriend" she says and we head over to where everyone is waiting to meet Yn. "I hope she enjoys pranks" Anthony mumbles. "No we are not getting her into trouble on her first day!" Scarlett says to him. He just laughs and high-fives Chris E. "I agree with Scarlett on this one. We don't want Yn to be in trouble" I chirp in. Everyone continues chatting about random things until the Russo brothers come over with who must be Yn.

"Okay here she is. Everyone this is Yn! She can read lips so just make sure to really annunciate" Anthony Russo says to us all. "Okay" we all say as he heads off to plan filming. Yn waves at us and smiles and we smile, waving back to her. She's very pretty. Shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes and cute little freckles sprinkled all over her face that is a nice tanned colour but not too tanned. She looks very pretty.

Yn's pov:
'Hello everyone. As you probably know I am deaf. You don't even know what I'm saying but oh well' I sign to them. They look confused. "How about we show you around set? Get you used to things before we start filming?" someone offers. I nod my head and follow these two women around the corner. "This is the.... Okay?" is all I can read. 'I'm sorry I didn't catch that' I sign. The two women talk to each other quickly before one of them pulls out their phone and writes 'Will this help?' I nod my head and smile at the kindness of the women. Normally I'm just ignored if I cant communicate to them but these two women seem to actually care. 'We are Lizzie and Scarlett. We don't know any sign language but can try to talk slow if that will help' the text on the screen says. 'May I type?' I sign to them. The blonde one hands me the phone and I type 'I can understand if you talk slowly. Who is who?' "I'm Scarlett" the blonde one says and I nod guessing the other one is Lizzie.

After spending around an hour or so together we start adjusting to communicating and we aren't using the phone as much as when we first met. 'Can we get something to eat please?' I sign to Lizzie. "Eat?" she asks. 'Yes' I sign. "Okay come on" she says showing me to a massive tent full of food.

Lizzie's pov:
After taking Yn to the food tent I stay with her just to make sure she doesn't need anything else. Not to baby her but just to keep an eye on her. "Hey Yn! The Russo brothers need you now to film" Chris E calls to Yn who obviously doesn't respond so being the great friend I am I leave it and see how long it will take for Chris to remember Yn is deaf. "Yn?" he says again. She doesn't respond so he walks over to her and then it clicks. "Oh shit" he mumbles and I burst out laughing. Yn notices Chris standing near her and turns around seeing me laugh. She signs something that I don't know so I go over to her. "They need you to film" I say slowly so she can read my lips. She signs okay to me and I show her to where she needs to be.

After being on set with Yn all day I realise how fun she is. She is always making jokes and the more comfortable she got with me and Scar the better she got with speaking. She can talk but she doesn't do it often. She said it was easier for her to just sign rather than have to worry about how she sounds, how loud she is and whether people can actually understand her. When she talks I notice an Irish accent that sounds beautiful. She shows us some sign language and we get on really well. I cant wait to travel to comic cons and panels with her. I just want to stay with Yn if I'm being honest. I don't want to leave her. I really hope she can come back for the next movie as I'm starting to really like her.
