Yn's pov:
"Yn man up a bit and take it!" Bridgette, one of my friends say, handing me a vape.
"Mom's going to kill me if I have one" I say
"Is she here?" Tory asks
"No"
"Exactly so just take it and try it" Bridgette says shoving it in my hand
"God I hate you" I say rolling my eyes and trying the vape. I cough a little but it's kinda nice.
"See you like it!" Bridgette says laughing
"I hate you so much" I say shoving at her.
That's where it started. Now I buy vapes using my pocket money that mom gives me every week. I get £10 a week and the majority goes to buying vapes. Mom doesn't know and I would like to keep it that way because she'll actually kill me if she finds out. I wish I was joking. You think Natasha Romanoff would let her only daughter smoke? Yeah, no.
"Yn! Come here" Mom shouts for me.
"Coming!" I yell chucking my phone onto my bed, getting up and going downstairs to where mom is sitting with Aunt Wanda and Aunt Yelena.
"What?" I ask sitting on the armchair.
"I noticed that you're money in your account is going down rapidly. What are you buying?" mom asks and Wanda and Yelena have their own conversation.
"Nothing much just stuff" I tell her obviously lying.
"You know you can't lie because it's not how I raised you" mom says and I roll my eyes.
"Well it's the truth. I'm just buying things I want" I answer
"Like?" she asks
"It's none of your bussiness" I snap at her.
"Oh really? Who's money is it?" she says crossing her arms and raising her eyebrows
"Mine" I mumble
"It's mine"
"But you've given it to me so it's actually mine now!" I tell her
"Yn, you're stressing me out. You're making me think you're buying bad things by trying to hide it from me" she says
"Look mom it's just random things I like" I tell her feeling my palms start sweating.
"You better not be lying to me Yn Romanoff!" Mom warns me
"Well i'm not so" I say to her
"Hmm okay but if I find out you're lying i'm controlling your bank card for a long time missy" mom says letting me go.
"Kay bye mom" you get up and rush out the room up to Wanda's room.
"What?" you ask as you flop onto the bed.
"You're in trouble again I can see it in your eyes" she says poking your belly
"I'm not in trouble"
"Yes you are. You lied about buying vapes" she says reading your mind.
"I hate you"
"No you don't. Why did you lie to your mom?"
"Because she will actually kill me. Like, not even pretend"
"Okay but she's going to kill you more when she finds out" Wanda says
"Why am I killing her?" Mom asks
"Fuck!" I say knowing she just heard the whole converstaion.
"Language!" mom says coming over
"Here now" she says as I follow her into my bedroom.
"Sit" she orders.
"Mom if you're gonna scream at me just do it" I sigh
"I'm not angry at you I just want to know why you lied to me" she asks
"Because I knew you'd be mad when you found out I smoke" I answer
"I thought it was a vape?" mom asks
"It's the same thing pretty much" I answer finally getting enough courage to look at mom.
"So why'd you start?" she asks me
"My friends made me try it"
"So you were pressured into it?"
"Pretty much, yeah. But then I couldn't stop" I reply
"Well then i'll help you quit because there's no way in hell you're buying more of those!" she tells me opening her arms.
"Okay I promise" I say walking into her arms.
"I love you" she says kissing my head
"You too" I answer hugging her tightly.
