Lunch was French cuisine- of course- and much to Cassie's utter shock, Lucretia had opened a bottle of wine. The Potter boy arrived in the sitting room promptly 20 minutes after they had left his room, and Cassie had to say that his shower and new clothes increased his healthy appearance and she had to admit that the boy cleaned up nicely. However, no matter how nicely the boy looked, his entire being left Cassie on edge and cautious. Dark Magic dripped from his pores and even Cassie- who bathed in Dark Magic as if she were swimming in a swimming pool- felt stifled by his Darkness. She was reassured by the presence of her wand in its holster on her arm, but she wasn't sure it would do much against the oozing Dark Magic. Lucretia didn't seem bothered at all but that meant nothing, Lucy's composure was the most unshakeable thing on the planet.

"Harry dear! So glad to see you join us," Lucy's voice was dripping with warmth. "Why don't you sit down here and have something to eat?" Harry stalked through the room to his seat with an easy, predatory gait that seemed so natural on him but sent tremors of fear down Cassie's spine.

And Cassie didn't appreciate anyone making her feel that way.

"Why don't you tone down your magic and try and play nice at the table Potter. Not all of us want to drown in the stench of your magic." The words fell out of her mouth before she had time to think about them. Lucretia reached over to her leg under the table and delivered the pinch from absolute hell which made Cassie hiss at her. Potter's only reaction was to raise a single eyebrow at her, as if she had left him completely unimpressed.

How offensive.

"Why Cassie," God his tone made her itch to hex him. "I thought you promised to play nicely." The drawl in his voice left her boiling and before she could bite back a stinging retort Lucy interrupted her.

"She will. We are ALL going to. Aren't we?" Her pointed look at Cassie (which threatened another pinch) left Cassie nodding her head in submission.

"Of course, Lady Lucretia." Potter's voice dripped with respect and politeness when he spoke with Lucy.

Typical.

The trio finished lunch in mostly silence and Cassie did her best to restrain herself from glaring at Potter the entire time. When the trio finished, Lucy summoned their house elf to remove the plates. Potter wiped the corners of his mouth and relaxed in his chair with the utmost grace - as if he had complete control of the situation.

"Lady Lucretia, I believe you had questions for me?" His expression was absolutely blank as he awaited the questioning.

"Please call me Lucretia," Potter nodded his agreement. "I was hoping you could tell me how you arrived here. It's a very strange notion that you managed to get here. You see, our ancestral home- Black Manor- is unplotted and unreachable by any means unless one is specifically keyed in. So, how did you come to arrive at our gates and get through our wards?"

Potter gave a sigh.

"You see, I was living with my Muggle relatives- who are the absolute worst- and I reached this point of no return. I wanted the entire house to burn down, and I wanted them to burn with it. I was struggling under the weight of my Godfather's death and so I went on a walk to clear my head. While on my walk some of Dumbledore's followers tried to stop me." He paused, a sick and bloodthirsty grin coming over his face. "I made sure they couldn't."

"What did you do to them?" Cassie couldn't help her sort of dark curiosity. Potter's smirk grew.

"What do you think? I tortured them and murdered them and then made sure they were erased from existence." How utterly Dark of him, she thought.
