Harry never claimed to be the bastion of patience and peacefulness. He was, however, a fount of quick tempers and an even quicker willingness to fight. So it was only natural that when faced with Draco Malfoy sitting on Lucretia's couch that he whipped out his wand and let his magic swell up for a fight. The snarl that made its way across his face when looking at Malfoy was natural (it happened subconsciously all the time at school). An ugly look came over Malfoy's face as well as he opened his mouth to say something that would surely end with Harry hexing him. However luckily for Malfoy, Lucretia stepped between them before Malfoy could speak.

"Draco dear, I must admit I wasn't expecting to see you today. Why are you here?" Malfoy's face morphed into an apologetic look when he answered Lucretia. Harry honestly never knew that the little ferret could look apologetic.

"The Dark Lord sent me-" Malfoy gave a slight pause and Harry could feel Malfoy's eyes on him, as if he were waiting to see Harry flinch or something The slight look of surprise that crossed his expression when he saw that Harry wasn't afraid or angry was satisfying. "He sent me to fetch one of Aunt Cassie's books. Darkest Magic and Its Secrets."

Cassie pushed her way past Harry to look at Malfoy. She deliberately knocked into his shoulder as she passed him and holy shit why were her shoulders bony as hell.

"Another one? You just took one of my books to him a week and a half ago." Malfoy heaved a great sigh and gave an inelegant shrug.

"I know. But I don't really like to question it when the Dark Lord sends me on errands. Questioning him never ends well." Harry gave a snort at that. He would love to see what the Dark Lord would do if Malfoy tried to question him. His Aunts and Malfoy turned to look at him when he snorted but he just waved them off.

"Now that you know what I'm doing here, why don't you tell me what you are doing in my aunt's house." Malfoy spoke with that sneer he always wore. Harry thought it might be etched forever into the surface of Malfoy's face given the frequency of the facial expression.

"Technically, after today, this is my house." His amusement grew as Malfoy's eyes widened in shock. "So, I can be here without any reason. However, they're my aunts too so I think my presence here is perfectly justified."

"And how is Black Castle yours?" Questioned Malfoy in a completely pompous and disdainful tone. Harry's smirk grew into a full on grin.

"Because I am the Head of the Black Family." Malfoy's jaw dropped.

"That's not possible."

"Oh it's very possible." Cassie muttered as she walked past Harry and out of the sitting room towards what Harry assumed was the library.

"Yes," Lucretia said, "as of today, Harry is officially the Lord and Head of our house." She gave Harry a fond grin and he felt a sort of fondness himself towards his Aunt. "Now, can I trust that you boys will not try and kill one another while I go to the library with Cassie?" Harry sighed as if she were asking him some great feat, and nodded. Malfoy muttered something rude towards Harry under his breath before he answered Lucretia with a sullen 'yes'.

They both watched as Aunt Lucretia left and when her footsteps had finally faded down the hall, Malfoy stood and glared at Harry again.

"What the fuck is going on here, Potter?" Harry gave a dramatic gasp.

"You kiss Voldemort's ass with that mouth, cousin?" The look of utter contempt that Draco aimed at Harry only made him laugh with delight.

"Shut up. Don't call me that. Answer my question."
