A Week later
A week passed and it was finally Tuesday 1 of September. Mine, Jhope and Jungkook's birthday.
I was running down the stairs as fast as a hurricane to the front door as the bell rang non-stop.
I opened the door and I saw the two female figures.
My aunt and cousin.
"SAVELY!"
I and my cousin greeted and hugged each other.
"TZUVELY!"
Jhope and Jungkook that were behind me looked at each other before also greeting each other.
"MANG!"
"COOKY"
They did their bro hug while I and my cousin looked at them like they were stupid.
"Those two dorks never change do they?"
"Thank you for your appreciation, Sana."
Sana is my cousin from Japan. She is one of the few people on this planet that love with all my heart.
She lives in Osaka with my aunt Yoona who's a famous model in America.
"Hi, honey beans happy birthday."
Yonna came and hugged me, my brother, and Jungkook while giving all of us our presents.
We moved into the living room where the rest of our family was.
My dad was drinking with Jaehyuk and Wonwoo's father Siwon.
Yoona came to Nara who talked with Hyerin Wonwoo's mother.
Sana played with Jiyeon and Min while Jin also joined her.
I and Jungkook sat on the floor with Jhope while talking with Sana and Jin.
We just sat and drank coke and ate Japchae and fried chicken wings.
We had music and played different songs on the speaker. It was a very nice evening.
Time passed and everyone was gathered in the living room while Hyerin came from the kitchen holding a birthday cake
There were 21 candles on it since we all turned 21. The others led me, Jungkook, and my brother to the couch, while they stood in front of us and started singing happy birthday in Korean.
I while they stood in front of us and started singing happy birthday in Korean.
"Saeng il chuk ha ham ni da, saeng il chuk ha ham ni da, Sarang ha neun Jhope, Jungkook gwa Tzuyu-shi."
"Saeng il chuk ha ham ni da." They sang and clapped.
Hyerin put the cake in front of us and we counted to three before blowing out the birthday candles.
"one, two, three" We counted and blew the candles while the others cheered for us.
"Make a wish," Sana said as we all clapped our hands wishing what we wish for before opening them again.
"Let's eat!" I said excitedly as Nara started cutting the cake and giving out peace to all of us.
And that's how we spent our birthday, with family and family friends.
I was sitting in my room looking down at the bottle of vodka that Sana gave me.
I occasionally looked towards Jungkook's window wondering what he was up to.
I didn't feel like sleeping even if it was already midnight.
I bit my lip thinking hard before throwing a hoodie over my pajama, and tank top. I walked towards my window and opened it.
I climbed out of my room and on the tree in between our windows.
When I was just in front of Jungkook's window I knocked on it and waited for him to open it.
When I was just in front of Jungkook's window I knocked on it and waited for him to open it.
A moment later I saw Jungkook pulling his curtain away and looking at me taken aback.
He opened the window while I greeted him with a bright smile.
"Am I hallucinating or are you really in front of my window." He said and leaned on the window frame.
"You're hallucinating, Can I come in?"
"If I say no will you still come in?"
"You know it," I said and pushed him away to get in.
I stepped inside his room and sat down on his bed while he closed his window before walking up to me.
He sat down on his desk chair while looking at the bottle in my hand.
"What's that?" He asked, crossing his arms.
"Oh, this? It's vodka, Sana gave me it as a birthday gift."
"Why did you bring it here?"
"You see. I don't drink and since I know you do I thought I would give this to you as a birthday gift. So here."
I stretched out my arms and gave him the vodka.
He chuckled before taking it and examining it.
"You don't drink? That's not what saw last Friday."
I looked up at him as he still looked at the bottle in his hands.
"So you were the one that brought me home."
"Who else would?" He looked back up at me and saw my red and nervous face.
"Did we.. You know. Kiss?" I asked, looking away from his eyes as I felt way too shy.
"Yeah, you kissed me before puking like there is no tomorrow." He grinned recalling the events from that night.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that to you." I looked back up at him.
"It's fine, you were drunk. And besides, it didn't mean anything."
Jungkook looked at me while biting his lips before speaking again.
"Do you want to do something fun?" He asked all of a sudden as I looked back up at him.
"What?"
"Want to play never have I ever with this vodka?" He suggested as I thought about it for a while before nodding
"Sure why not."
We sat down on his floor with two glasses and the vodka standing in the middle.
"Ladies first." He gestured for me to start the game.
I looked up at the calling pursing my lips before looking back down at the boy watching my movements like a hawk.
"Never have I ever stuck gum under a desk," I said as that was the only thing came up with.
"Of course I have, who hasn't." He said and took the vodka and drank a shot.
"I haven't."
"Of course, you haven't. You're too prudent."
"I am not!" I gasped dramatically at his remark.
He rolled his eyes and chuckled at my drama.
"Whatever. Let's see... Never have I ever escaped class."
He watched as I took the bottle of vodka to pour some into a glass.
"Walt, are you serious? Have you gone out of class?" He asked, surprised as ever.
"Not so prudent anymore," I said and took a shot and grimaced at the strong taste.
"Damn baby. You're a little baddie." He smirked.
"Guess I am."
