We ended up walking back to the wheelers house. Dustin, Liv, mick, and I sat on the couch in mikes basement. "Are you sure you're alright?" I asked softly as I examined Dustin's face to make sure there was no cuts.

"I'm fine y/n I promise" he said smiling up at me. "Good" I said pulling him into a hug. Suddenly Lucas's voice began to come through mikes walkie talkie. He sounded frantic, so dustin jumped up and ran to the bathroom where Mike, and El were. "It's Lucas! I think he's in trouble!" Dustin panted as he burst opened the door. Dustin then ran back into the main area of the basement with Mike, and El following behind. "Do you remember how he said he was looking for the gate?" Dustin asked as he picked up the walkie talkie "yeah" Mike replied.

"What if he found it?"

Lucas was shouting over the radio but we couldn't really understand what he was saying he must've been out of range. "What's he saying?" Mike grabbed the walkie from Dustin. "I dunno he's way out of range."

Mike brought the walkie up to his ear, "...son of bitch!" Lucas shouted. "Lucas if you can hear us, slow down. We can't understand you" Mike said pressing down on the button on the side. "Yes! I co..! Do you? They know about El....." Lucas shouted "get out of the...! They know about Ele...!"

"The bad hen... are coming! All of them! Do you hear me? The ba.. men are coming!"

I furrowed my eyebrows "what is he saying?" Dustin shrugged his shoulders " 'mad hen' does that mean anything to you guys? Like a code name or something" Dustin asked. I shook my head and so did Liv and mick.

"The mad men are coming!"

"Bad men?" I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows "bad men" Mike said quietly "bad men!"

"Stay here!" Mike said before running up the stairs with Dustin following behind. "Bad men?" I asked "do you know what bad men are?" I asked. Mick and Liv both shook their hands.

"We've gotta go!" Mike shouted "we don't have any bikes!" I replied as we ran out of the back door. "You guys can use our extras."

There were three bikes leaning against the brick wall. while Mike and Dustin's were just thrown on the ground. one was bright pink, and the other two were a grayish color.

I quickly picked up one of the bikes and we all started to run. After we got a good distance away from the wheelers house we all hopped onto the bikes. El shared with mike since she probably didn't know what a bike was let alone how to ride one. I noticed a bunch of hawkins power and lights vans outside the wheelers house and a bunch of they're workers walking toward us led by Dr. Brenner. El looked scared.

"Go, go, go, go, go, go, go!" Dustin shouted and we all started to peddle as fast as we could. The group of men also ran to they're vans. I heard they're engines start up and then the tires screech. "Oh my god! Oh my god oh my god" dustin repeated over and over again as we rode as fast as we could. We finally made it onto a main road. "Dustin!" Lucas shouted over the radio.

"Dustin, do you copy?"

"Yeah lucas, they're on us!" Dustin shouted.

"Where are you?!" Lucas yelled. I peddled as fast as I could to keep up with Mike and Dustin. "Cornwallis!" Dustin replied. "Meet me at elm and cherry!"

"Copy elm and cherry!"

We cut through a few yards to get to our destination faster, but we unfortunately ended up on a road that two of the vans were turning onto. "Shit!" Dustin shouted. "This way come on!" Mike said leading us up someone's drive way and through they're backyard almost hitting two young girls in the process. "Out of the way!" Dustin shouted making both girls quickly jump back.
