10.THE AFTERMATH-Neil's Adoption Track[3.6]

Akshara woke up the next morning with a heavy head.Slowly adjusting her eyes to the sunrays peeping in through the window she looked at her surroundings.She at first got scared seeing the new place but then her eyes fell on the frames on the wall of the room.The entire room was designed according to her taste and was completely filled with her pictures.Pictures from her childhood,her younger days.As she tried to get up to have a closer look at them she felt a sharp pain in her feet.That is when yesterday's happenings came crashing down;the accusations,her pain,her breakdown at the academy,her brother sharing Naira's memories and atlast her sleeping on his lap.She got worried remembering Manjiri's condition,what would have happened after her departure,did Neil forgive Manjiri,did they know about her stay here,was her Abhi still angry with her,with all those thoughts running in her mind she rushed downstairs ignoring the pain in her feet.

As she went downstairs she saw Kairav arranging the dining table with a plate of freshly made kachoris. Bhaiya she called.....arre Akshu aaram se aa...chot lgi hai tujhe aur tu akeli neeche aa gyi...mujhe bula leti...acha abb per par zyada pressure mat daal saying this he made her sit on the chair...tabiyat kaisi hai abb teri he asked patting her head...itni jaldi kyun uthi thoda aur so leti beta...

Bss bss bhaiya aur kitna bologe....Main kal se better hoon...Aapne sabko inform toh krdiya tha na ke main yahan hun...aur ghar par I mean Birla mansion main sab theek hai na...maa aur neil ke beech sab theek toh ho gya na..

Kairav-Haan beta vahan par sab theek hai...Abhi aya tha kal yahan par tu aaram kar rhi thi aur teri tabiyat bhi theek nhi thi isliye maine usse vapis ghar bhej diya..acha yeh sab chod tu jaldi se freshen up ho ja...maine teri favourite kachoriyan bnayi hain

Hours later Kairav saw Akshu standing in front of Kaira's photo lost in her thoughts...she didn't talk much at the breakfast and once she was done 
had immediately left to her room..even Kairav didn't force her talk wanting to give her time.
Akshu he called out softly...she didn't turn but nodded her head..tujhe pta hai yeh ghar maine  kuch mahine pehle hi kharida tha ...Ghar main iske baare main kisiko nhi pta kyunki main tujhe surprise dena chahta tha par...acha tu yeh sab baatein chod aaj kitne time dinon baad hume ek sath time spend krne ka mauka mila hai chalna thodi masti krte hain but he got no reaction from her....A few moments later she turned and wiping her tears said she wanted to go to hospital and then to the Birlas.

Par beta tujhe chot lgi hai aur teri tabiyat bhi theek nhi hai...tu aaj off lele...aur tu jitne din chahe yahan ruk skti hai...main nhi chahta vahan jaake tujhe aur takleef ho

Akshu-Maine kal bhi chuti li thi... Roz roz off nhi le skti aur aaj mere important sessions bhi hain... aur rhi baat Birla house jane ki toh abb voh hi mera ghar hai...parivar ko essi mushkilon main chod kar bhaga nhi jata balki unka sath diya jata hai... phir chahe koi mera sath de ya na...

On the other hand Abhimanyu had just woken up from his sleep...murmering Akshara's name.He immediately opened his eyes and looked at the clock which showed 12.30...main itni der tak kaise so skta hun  probably because he slept early morning only.Not finding Akshara in the room he rushed downstairs thinking that she might be with Manjiri Or Neil.But he felt disappointed when Manjiri told that she hasn't returned.He immediately called Kairav.
Meanwhile kairav and Akhara had just reached the hospital... As she was about to step out of the car his phone rang flashing Abhimanyu's name. Akshara saw his name on the caller id but didn't react and left saying byee.. Dhyan rakhna  apna before kairav could say further she disappeared from his sight... He answered the call and informed him that he had just dropped her at the hospital and shewould directly return from their to Birla house.

Yeh ldki apna bilkul khayal nhi rkhti... Kya zaroorat thi aaj hospital jane ki... Kal itna severe panick attack aya tha aur upar se pair main bhi chot lgi hai....
Manjiri who was standing next to him heard him talking to himself and got worried listening to him

Panick attack  Akshu ko attack Aya tha aur Chot konsi chot ki baat kar rha hai tu  beta...
Abhi- Voh maa shayd galti se kisi se glass toot gya tha hall main aur Akshu ko voh kanch chubh gya
Manjiri- Kaanch ka glass....meri vajah se meri bachhi ko chot lg gyi...voh glass maine hi Akshu ke hath se cheen kar toda tha...Abhi she said holding his hands... Yeh maine kya kar diya Akshu...akshu mujhe maaf toh kar degi na beta
Abhi-Maa isme sirf aapki hi nhi meri bhi galti hai... Akshu ko sabse zyada hurt maine kiya hai... iske liye Akshu mujhe jo bhi saza de mujhe manzoor hai... Dekhna maa Akshu humse zyada din naraaz nhi reh payegi...bohot pyar krti hai voh humse

Akshara returned later that evening, with a throbbing pain in her feet.She at first feared to enter the house as she still didn't have the exact picture of what happened yesterday. As she entered she saw Manjiri feeding dal bhatti to Neil. One look at them and she knew that everything was sorted . As soon as Manjiri saw her she immediately ran to her with Neil following behind.

Manjiri-Akshu aagyi tu beta.. hum tera hi intezaar kar rhe the...kaisi hai teri tabiyat she asked cupping her face..
Listening to her Akshara understood that  the truth was out and her innocence was proved but rather than feeling happy and relieved she felt angry and hurt as they needed proof to trust her.
She gently removed Manjiri's hands from her face and said- Main theek hun maa and giving a small smile to Neil left to her room.She was glad that Abhimanyu wasn't home and slept due to exhaustion.

An hour later, Abhi returned home and saw her sleeping. He went to her side and carressed her forehead, kissing it lightly. Akshara feeling his touch, opened her eyes and immediately moved away from him. Before he could react she left to the washroom.Abhi felt bad but he knew that he deserved it...

Akshara came after having a long shower....she felt fresh and light . Abhi came with their dinner and saw her sitting on bed checking her phone,then his eyes landed on her feet which were bleeding. He rushed to her keeping the tray aside and bent down checking her feet.

Kitna khoon aa rha...dhyan nhi rakh skti tum apna... agar tumhe nahana hi tha toh chot ko cover krke nhati
Akshu was at first shocked then replied-Chodo mera pair main khud dekh lungi
Abhi- Doctor main hun... toh mujhe mera kaam krne do... patti puri tarah geeli ho gyi hai... phirse dressing krni pdegi vrna infection ho jayegi...
Akshara felt emotional seeing his concern for her after a long time...  She didn't have much strength to fight back and let him do his work without arguing further
After the dressing was done she muttered- Thanks... Abhimanyu
He felt hurt listening to his full name from her mouth... it felt like he was a stranger to her.. then he remembered all the times when he had called her Akshara... how bad she would have felt.
As he came back to his senses he saw her sitting silently.He arranged the plates and both had their dinner silently with Abhimanyu glancing at her in b/w.
Akshara could feel his gaze on her but didn't react and remained neutral.After completing her night routine, she laid on the bed turning her back to Abhi. Abhi knew that she wasn't sleepy and was trying to avoid him but he didn't say much as he knew she needed time to be back to her normal self and forgive him.But still it pained seeing her ignoring him.
Goodnight Akshu he said in a cracking voice and slept hugging their marriage photo. While Akshu pulled out his white shirt from below their bedsheet cover and hugged it tightly to her chest... Even though she was mad and angry at him she still couldn't sleep without feeling his warmth...
