(A/N :the sports festival arc is going to be a tad bit different because i really don't want Aizawa in bandages for that long. I got plans and he's ruining it by being in casts
Enjoy!!)
Some times life treats you very well, and sometimes life just smacks you right up side the head like a parent who's kid says a very not nice word.
Recovery Girl had came to heal Aizawa for the second day in a row. She was leaving his arms for last as he needed to walk and needed his ribs to not be bruised anymore. He hated not being able to use his arms. There's so many things that needed to get done, so much homework to grade, and just overall needed them back. After the bathroom incident a few days ago with Akari, he decided that it would be best to just sit down and use the toilet. Which both of them didn't even think about that until Recovery Girl asked how the bathroom situation was working.
Later in the evening that day, now that he could use his legs and not cringe in pain from breathing in, he deemed himself healthy enough to go back to school and teach. Of course he would stay here with Akari until the old doctor finally healed his arms, but he was getting restless from laying in bed all day and night. Granted, he'd rather do that than be around a bunch of juvenile delinquents but there comes a point where he has to do it for his career. When he mentioned his plans to Akari, the younger wasn't on board. He wanted to follow doctor's orders for Aizawa, but he too had bills to pay and his uncle could just suck it up.
It was early in the morning now and Aizawa was getting ready to leave to U.A. it was the first day back for all the students after the U.S.J incident. The R rated hero: Midnight, came to visit and bring his spare hero suit(which was basically glorified pajamas in Akari's opinion). He managed to get it on without much help from Akari before standing by the door.
"I packed you a lunch box with easy to open foods. When your friend stopped by last night, she gave me some apple sauce for snack time." Akari slung the makeshift lunch box over Aizawa's torso, being careful with the straps. He was up way earlier than he needed to. He just wanted to make sure the man had all that he needed before going to work.
"Thanks." He was actually grateful. He never ate lunch at school because of how crowded the cateen was.
"You think you can make it okay or do i need to call a cab?" The glow was faint on the youngers cheeks. His eyes were still droppy from sleep but overall added to the cuteness.
"I can manage. It's a short walk from here anyways. I'll come by your work when school is over." He said before bidding goodbye and walking out the door.
Akari waited until he was out of sight before closing the front door. Maybe he could get a few hours of shut eye before he had to get ready for work. This was the first time he had laid in his bed since Aizawa was put in his care. The bed wasn't made all the way but he didn't mind too much. Dr.Pickle jumped right up beside him as he made himself a human burrito. His pillow kind of had a faint smell of aftershave after attempting to shave Aizawas face(long story short, he knicked the skin a few times because he had never shaved before.) The scent of the man who slept in his bed lingered as he drifted off to sleep.
To say class 1-A was excited to see their teacher was an understatement. Present Mic had already chewed him out for come to work in this condition, while Recovery Girl shook her head in disappointment. His students on the other hand, we very happy he wasn't dead. Most of them had seen him get beaten to a plup by the Nomu.
"Why are you here Mr.Aizawa?!" The class representative for 1-A called out. "You should be resting and healing!"
"Iida, sit down. You're the only one standing right now."
"My apologies."
"As for the matter of why I'm here." He sat down at his desk in the very from of the room. He left out a sigh from standing too long after just having his legs healed. "It pointless to sit at home and do nothing then come here and teach heroics. Especially when we have another activity for you guys-"
"Right after s villian attack?!"
"Not another field trip!"
" My head is still bruised from falling fr the sky!"
Aizawa activated his quirk making his students quiet down."-Don't interrupt me. Now as I was saying. We have more pressing matters to discuss. The annual U.A. Sports Festival is being held in a few weeks and every single one of you are participating."
The class cheered and began talking about how cool it would be to show of their quirks and compete with other students.
"Don't get to excited. Pro heroes will be watching every single one of you. You guys are class 1-A. Everyone will be watching you and judging you. This is not suppose to be a leisurely activity. If you don't place in the top spots after the first round, you won't get as many sponsers or none at all. Any questions?"
Every single student raised their hand except for the explosive blond in the front row who was clicking his pen seeming uninterested.
"Great, no questions. Iida will you come pass out these forms to everyone?" He finished speaking and the class broke out into chatter while he grabbed an apple sauce from his man purse.
He hated children.
(A/n : would you look at that? Two updates in two days! Go me. I literally wrote this chapter in thirty minutes for no reason at all. Kinda sucks ngl but a chapter is a chapter.
Wish me luck, a guy friend and I are going to the gym at the butt crack of dawn and this will be the first time i go into a mens changing room and sauna -_-
Dooces homies)
