(Not really sure when the sports festival is held so im making it up.)

That night while closing time at The Bean hit,  was about as normal as it could be. Denki had stayed a bit longer to clean up after the rush while Tadashi(i have found out his name i gave him so this is what it will be if i haven't mentioned it before lmao) finished up doing inventory counts/ordering. Akari had done it before but he didn't really understand what all went on when owning a business. There was so many things that had to be kept up along with following regulations within a food industry. He was glad that he was just a normal worker. Being an owner was not something he saw im his future anytime soon.

All the tables were cleaned off. The rest of the dishes were cleaned and put away. Leftover food was in boxes to take home for breakfast or as a snack later. Everything seemed to be in order. Uncle Tadashi had left a few minutes ago with Denki. Aizawa had stayed with him, but didn't know if he was able to go back to his own home or still needed to be watched over.

"Are you coming back to my apartment or are you able to stay by yourself now?" He locked up the building after making sure all the lights were turned off.

"I think I'm good to be by myself now..." Aizawa trailed off. He almost seemed hesitant on his response. Did he not want to leave? It was understandable with him living alone and never really getting to enjoy life outside of work. The only being that Akari gets to see is Dr.Pickles but even then, having someone to come home too sounds nice.

"You can stay again tonight if you want to. I don't mind. You're just going to have to eat cookies for dinner."

"If I'm not too much of a bother, that would be great."

On the walk back to Akari's apartment, he began to think about the upcoming week. Denki and Mina had mentioned the Sport's Festival in a week or something. Since he was family, he got a free ticket to the event. He wasn't too keen on watching children fight each other in order to see who was the best. It wasn't his style. All throughout highschool, he took general studies since his quirk wasn't that great for a few things. Lighting up a dark room was about as useful as he could get, so seeing people show of their quirks like they're better than everyone isn't in his to-do list.

It was also nearing his twenty-third birthday. It always fell somewhere around the time of U.A's Sports Festival. But working at The Bean and taking care of a cat, he never had time to celebrate. The people he knew from highschool either moved away, or fell apart from each other. Don't get him wrong, he hated socialization when it comes to stuff outside of customer service, but he was still young and wanted to enjoy his young-adult days while he could. He's never actually been to a real club or bar before. The other people he was around was his cousins family, and his cousins friends. His Aunt and Uncle are too busy with their lives and the friends are all under the age of legal alcohol consumption. The only person he could think of that was old enough to drink or adult with him would be Aizawa, but the man is too busy already. He didn't want to exhaust him more by getting drunk and havinf a good time. Maybe the old lad needed it.

They entered the apartment finally. Aizawa going to sit on the couch while Akari made his way into the kitchen to feed Dr.Pickles and sit the leftover bakery things on the counter.

"Hey, Pencil End-" he spoke going into the living room to sit by Aizawa on the couch."-do you drink?" Aizawa had gone on Netflix to pick a movie to watch until they both felt tired.

"Depends. I drink more than i need too but i'm not opposed to it. Why do you ask?"

"My birthday is coming up and i hate to say this, but you're my only adult friend and i just want to go let loose a little."

Aizawa leaned back on the couch putting his arm along side the back.
"When's your birthday?"

"May 13th"

"Thats a friday right? The sports festival is that day this year."

"Yeah, kinda sucks too. Uncle has me working with him for concessions over there. He wants to promote things i guess."

"I'm the announcer this year with Present Mic. He usually does it by himself while i take a nap." Aizawa chuckled to himself. He always was napping on the job while teaching so it's no surprise if he fell alseep during the sports festival.

Akari smirked at the man, grabbing the blanket off the back of the couch. His pillow for previous nights of sleeping on the couch was still there. It took a few moments the convince himself to put the pillow in Aizawa's lap and lay down with the blanket over himself. He looked up at the man who seemed to be looking at him already at the action. "Is this okay?"

It took all the man had not to bring Akari closer to him.

"It's more than okay."
