Though he's hurt by Jimin's confession, he understands why the other would say something like that. His sister means the world to him and that's something Jungkook respects.
However, the deed is done and they now have to deal with the consequences. Jungkook needs to know if that will be done with them together or alone.
He tightens up, unable to control his glower when he retorts, "But you did."
He feels guilt, pain, and anger simmering deep within, his hand finding Jimin's arm and turning him towards him. "You did fall in love with me. So tell me now if it was worth it?"
Jimin looks at him with this wild expression, his eyes trained on Jungkook's own and cheeks tear-stained. Hoseok calls for Taehyung to follow him and give the pair some privacy.
"If not then I'll walk away right now and that'll be it."
Something in Jimin's face twists at that. He voices, "Please don't."
Jungkook nearly sobs. "Then tell me it was worth it hyung because nothing for me has changed."
Jimin's expression falls even further, his eyes softening finally when he responds quietly, "It was baby, it was worth it."
At his words, everything inside of Jungkook about ready to riot settles.
He swallows, his head nodding. "Then we'll be okay. We'll talk to Suji and everything will be fine."
Maybe fine is a stretch but Jungkook knows Jimin needs soothing.
"What if it isn't? What if she hates me?"
"She could never hate you Jimin."
Jimin shakes his head, he looks like he doesn't believe Jungkook — like he's about ready to cry again. "You didn't see how she looked at me Jungkook."
Jungkook did see but he wouldn't admit that to the older. He sighs, pulling Jimin close and wrapping his arms around the shorter.
Jimin allows him, his face pressing into Jungkook's neck as the taller rubs his back and nape. He chokes back a cry and Jungkook clenches his eyes shut.
"She'll understand," Jungkook says and Jimin can only nod, his arms wrapping around Jungkook's waist in a hug.

Once they gather themselves, they head to the parking lot behind Taehyung and Hoseok. Jungkook immediately spots Suji being hugged by Miko and feels a wave of remorse flood his bones.
He finds Jimin's hand and holds on tightly, the other looking over at him unsurely and Jungkook nodding to reassure him.
He can hear Suji's soft, broken cries the closer they get and his heart drops to his stomach, his guts twisting the organ just enough to hurt. She hears their footsteps and pulls away from Miko to wipe at her eyes, Namjoon standing off to the side awkwardly.
Taehyung motions once they're some feet away for them to stay back. They do and Jungkook watches as the golden-haired man goes to talk to her.
He asks her something Jungkook can't quite catch and Suji shakes her head, not willing to speak. Taehyung sighs, looking back at them with a grim expression.
He shakes his head and mouths, "Not now," which causes Jimin to turn back to Jungkook with a shattered look on his face.
Jungkook just pulls him close, his own eyes filling up as he promises the older, "It's okay. It's okay. She just needs some time. We'll talk to her as soon as she's ready."
