Everybody in the courtroom was silent.

There was another uncomfortable silence. Everybody in the stands was still taking in what he had just said.

"Yes sir."
"Uh, hang on," someone in the stands shouted. "I still think that we should be sealing all of the gates, instead of focusing on one."
"Wait there are more?" yn blurted out. "Is one not enough?"
"The gates are the only part the Colossal Titan can break, isn't it? Let's seal all of them up! "
"I believe you also said that last time too," repeated Zackly. "And the Scout Regiment has proved that that is not the best option."
"But, with the girl's help, we can take back Wall Maria, and she can even fight alongside the titan! Make sure he doesn't go crazy again and-"
"That's wishful thinking! With this girl's attitude, I doubt she would even want to help. She is probably being forced to even be here!"
"That's just you being paranoid! Imagine her as an ally for just a second! Imagine how much we could take back of-"
"What did I say? Wishful thinking! We are being fed delusions! A fantasy that one day we can actually exterminate these filth-ridden titans! I said this before and I'll say it again! We just can't put up with any more of your childish heroics!"
