The Levi Squad escorted yn through a dark path outside, where they said a nearby shack would be located.
It was quite the walk from the old Scout Headquarters, and since the sun was setting, Levi had to lead the way with a handheld candle he found in the basement Eren was being held. yn could hear the flies and mosquitos buzzing around their only source of light, and it bothered her.
Petra walked next to yn and noticed the distressed look on her face.
"Don't worry," explained Petra, as they stomped on a few branches. "Captain Levi just wants to ask you a few questions. He means no harm I promise."
Petra continued as they treaded over a tree root.
"He's just desperate," she announced. "We all want to find a way to defeat these titans and to stop mankind from going extinct, and since both Wall Maria and Wall Rose were breached, I guess everybody's been a little on edge."
yn eyed Petra but sensed no deception from her words.
yn sighed. "I feel like you are the good cop and he's the bad cop," yn stated. (do people in the Taisho Era use those kinds of terms? idk but we will pretend they do)
Petra looked surprised, but then started chuckling, chuckling loud enough to alert Levi.
Levi narrowed his eyes confusedly at Petra, who when noticed him staring at her died down her laughter.
yn also looked at Petra confused, wondering why she was laughing.
When Levi turned to face the front once more, Petra smiled at yn.
"You know, sometimes it surprises me how perplexed you can get," she said, the stomping of leaves heard under their footsteps. Petra chuckled. "C-come on..."
Soon, they reached their desired location, where they soon heard Oluo scream.
The Levi Squad rushed to the scene, to see Oluo running away from a small black snake. (you guys asked, I deliver *bows*)
"The goddamn thing attacked me," staggered a startled Oluo. "I didn't even see it coming!"
"Calm down," yn reasoned, walking calmly towards it.
Before yn was given her mission to find Uppermoon 0, yn had spent most of her free time studying about the different kinds of snakes, so that she could better understand her brother and hopefully get along with him finally.
