(smut warning)

Gemma's point of view:

There's a knock on my door, my eyes open, darting towards the alarm clock.

3:17pm.

I've slept through the past three days, Mom actually bought what I had said about Zoe being sick.
She left meals at my door, which I couldn't eat.
Thankfully she let me 'sleep it off' which was good.

It's now Thursday afternoon and the house has been loud ever since Mike got home.
I'm assuming Nancy just dropped him since I haven't heard her voice yet.

She hasn't spoken a word to me,
hasn't knocked on my door.
She didn't even tell mom what happened, not that she tells her a lot but still.

There's another knock on the door, a second later it swings open.

Stretching my arms out, Mike clears his throat.

" There's someone here to see you".

Steve?

Robin's head pops into the door frame, a toothy grin across her face.
How the fuck did she find me?

" Uh hey Robin, what's up?" I scratch the back of my neck.

Mike walks off down the stairs, leaving Robin to awkwardly shuffle into the doorframe.

" I know this is weird. But, you're the first girl in Hawkins that i've met, who hasn't made me want to shoot myself, and I think we could both use a friend so.."

" You want to be friends?" I raise an eyebrow.

She nods, pulling a small plastic bag out of her pocket.

" And I heard you smoke, thought you might wanna".

Rubbing my eyes, I blink away the blurred vision, making sure this isn't a weird lucid dream.

" I mean, okay yeah" I laugh.

This is the least shit thing i've done all week.

" Okay sweet. Here or?".

" Here's fine, sorry about the mess" I reach out, opening the blinds, pulling the windows open slightly.

She laughs, " You should see my room".

Plonking herself down on my bed, she doesn't seem to care about the state of my room.
Theres clothes everywhere, coffee stained mugs too.

" So, how exactly did you find me?".

She passes me the pre rolled joint, taking it from her.
Lighting it, I blow the smoke out the window.

" I just asked Steve".

It comes out her mouth like nothing,
like it was just a regular thing to ask Steve.

" What did he say?".

The words come out too quickly for me to shut my mouth.

Her eyes flick up, meeting mine.

" He wined about how you hadn't called him back, then told me the address".

I pass her the joint back, fanning the smoke away from my face.
Mom would've told me if there was a call, i'm sure of it.

" I didn't know he called".

She takes another long drag, passing it back to me.

" I knew there was something going on!"

She begins to laugh, teasing me with her eyes.
