006; a little crush?

A LITTLE CRUSH?

"i'm sure he thinks i'm a creep for having a crush on him!" zach chuckled at the expression she was making. he stayed and talked for a little while longer before she started to fall asleep. zach ensured her that they are still friends but told her to go to bed.

for the next few days gia distanced herself from the boys and definitely didn't talk to daniel. zach and her would catch up every now and then but she never sought out after him to hang out. zach was a little worried about her because she didn't seem as bubbly as she was before that happened. as he had almost forgotten the situation but it seemed to be affecting her pretty badly. was she that embarrassed that she said a couple words that could alter a friendship? as a man he would probably never understand.

"hey zach!" zach's head snapped quickly in the direction of daniel's voice. "what's up?" he called back. daniel was making his way across the stage to talk to the younger one. they boys were getting ready to preform again but waiting to do a mic check and rehearsal. "have you seen gia?" the question hung in the air as zach racked through his brain. at first he didn't think it was a big deal but then he quickly realized that they were trying to start rehearsing and their mic girl was missing.

"uuhhh no?" he said more as a question. daniel sighed and walked back over to jack and corbyn to let them know. zach pulled his phone out and his finger quickly danced over his screen before landing on her contact and hitting the call button.

"hello?" the words were a tad fuzzy but he could understand them. "hey, where are you at?" he could tell that gia was yawning before she answered with "what do you mean?" "uhhh we're are waiting at rehearsal for you.." "shit" gia said quickly. on the other end gia dropped her phone quickly and then said she'd be right there while hanging up. she rushed around her room quickly making herself presentable.

zach chuckled and walked towards the rest of the group. "she's coming. must've taken a nap or something" he informed. "how is she by the way? she hasn't really been around" corbyn asked zach. he sighed "yeah, im not really sure, she's been distant" corbyn patted his shoulder in condolences. "ooohh does someone have a little crush on the mic girl and is sad that she quit hanging out with us?" jack said sounding like a little kid. "absolutely not, she's just my good friend and it's nice to have someone other then you guys to hang out with sometimes" zach said with a smirk. "ouch" daniel said. corbyn held his hand over his heart as if zach just shot him while jack and jonah just laughed.

"besides, she likes-" zach stopped short. starting to think of what he was going to bring to their attention again. "she's just been busy" he recovered by clearing his throat.

"i'm here!" gia said running into the auditorium out of breath. "gia!" the boys said in unison, making her slightly uncomfortable. "ok then" she said before quickly getting to work with their mics and sound check. "y'all are all set!" gia said waving her hands from the sound booth.
