I didn't ask for the barrier you put upon me, claiming it was a shield to protect me. I didn't ask for your lies and belittling words. I didn't ask for a false sense of security, banishing far away from what I knew to be my reality.
I didn't ask to be hurt; I've never felt a wound this deep.
