I thought you were meant to hold me.
I thought you and me were something the world couldn't survive without, like we were part of the world's necessities.I was stuck in the loss of you, but the wind blew and the rain fell and your friends moved on and the sounds of people laughing still rings in my head,
because
that
used
to
be
us.And everyone was stuck in between mourning you and loving what they had but they were so happy that your grief was overcome with their love. Tears still streaming down my face and the memories of you, of us still playing in my head because that couple that can't stop smiling at each other, the ones who just got engaged ?
they
used
to
be
us.And their smiles at their wedding day, seeing their children grow up and their family strengthen,
that
should've
been
us.
