The second I heard I knew what I had to do, running down to the Slytherin common rooms, I went to the boys dormitories and got to the dorm I was after, charging in, Draco's head snapped up from the book he was reading, the darkness of the black lake not allowing any light into the room, the tip of Draco's wand producing a lumos charm.
"Really Nott, I'm not in the mood," he put his head back in his book.
"Mia-" I was cut off by him.
"Why would I care about a stupid Gryffindor, get out!" He waved me away.
I cross my arms in the doorway, "oh so she hasn't been staying here for the entirety of the year?" I question, catching Draco's attention completely, "Good, now, Mia is in the hospital wing" Draco stood up.
"I told her not to go!" He took his wand shoving it in his suit pocket and moodily rushing to leave.
I blocked his path, "you know you can't see her" I warned him, "no one knows about whatever you two are doing together," I remind him.
He stops, looking at me grumpily, "why is she in there?" he asks.
"Draco, you don'-" I try to deter him from getting answers.
"Tell me" he glares.
"Bellatrix, she tortured her for a week, then made her lose her mind in front of Harry" I answered, Draco's face falling at my response, imminently returning to its stoic state.
Draco shrugged, "it's her own fault," he turns to sit back on his bed, picking up his book to read, "I warned her of the consequences, she ignored. Her fault." He sounded like he was telling himself more than me, but either way, he shouldn't be saying these things.
"Look!" I lean down at the foot of his bed, resting my hand on one of the posts of his four post bed, "I don't know what you two had going on, but you don't need to be a right git to me for how you feel," I fumed, hearing Draco scoff as I turned away. Stopping in the door-frame, "hospital wing is empty from 10 pm - 4 am," I offer the arrogant boy, leaving him to wallow in his own self pity.

Hermione worked on the potion day and night, visiting Mia whenever she got to stressed, which was most of the time, while Dumbledore had me busy with getting Slughorn to give me his memory. I didn't want to waste time on Dumbledore's mission, I wanted to help Hermione, - even though I would just get in her way- knowing what was exactly going on helped, it helped comfort me, knowing we were doing all we could. I had a plan though, that would help both Mia and my mission with Dumbledore.
Liquid Luck.
I would be taking it tonight, before curfew, I would find Slughorn and convince him to give me the memory, and then I would help Hermione with the cure.
That was until I reached my dorm shared with Ron, finding him sitting on the floor watching the sky turn dark.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" He pondered, "the moon" he smiled giddily.
I scrunched up my face, "divine" I agreed, noticing the mess of chocolate wrappings covering my bed and floor, "had ourselves a little late night snack did we?" I accuse Ron, stepping forward.
Ron glided up from his seated position, staring at me like a child on Christmas, "it was on the bed, the box," he hugged a red heart shaped box, "I just thought I'd try one" he grinned.
I scoffed, "or twenty" Ron didn't bat an eye, focusing on the thoughts running through his giddy head.
"I can't stop thinking about her Harry!" He stood there, fawning over Lavender.
