What defines you when you enter the world? You might assume it's the way you behave, the traits you possess, or even the achievements you accumulate. Unfortunately, in the society we inhabit today, worth is measured by power. A long time ago, a remarkable child was born, illuminating the world with the radiance of their very being.
As time passed, more individuals began to emerge, each possessing extraordinary abilities we now refer to as quirks. Before long, a staggering 80% of the population was gifted with these powers, leaving just 20% of humanity without them—those deemed quirkless and often regarded as insignificant. Our protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, found himself belonging to this unfortunate group, and this is where his journey begins.
Izuku, along with his twin sister, Izumi, was on their way to visit the quirk doctor, accompanied by their hopeful parents. They were eager to discover what abilities the future might hold for both of them. However, little did Izuku know that this day would mark a pivotal shift in his life.
"Unfortunately, Mr. and Mrs. Yagi, it appears that Izuku is quirkless," the doctor expressed gently as he glanced up from his clipboard, his voice tinged with sympathy. Disappointment washed over their faces like a dark cloud, as Izuku's heart sank. "On the bright side, Izumi possesses a powerful strength quirk that includes telekinesis," he continued, attempting to lighten the mood.
With excitement, their father scooped Izumi up into a joyful spin, laughter bubbling from her lips as she twinkled with pride. "You hear that, Izumi? You are destined to become a great hero!" he declared, enveloping her in a warm embrace. Meanwhile, Izuku felt an aching emptiness as he stood off to the side, the warmth of that moment not reaching him. After a moment, the doctor leaned closer to Izuku, offering a quiet encouragement, "Hey kid, don't let this bring you down. Let this be a stepping stone to the incredible things you will achieve." Izuku nodded, forcing a brave smile as he threaded his way out of the office to join his family.
As the years rolled on, a cloud of humiliation, pain, and suffering shadowed Izuku's life. Ever since that fateful day at the doctor's office, his reality had spiraled into despair. His parents, caught in the glow of Izumi's burgeoning talents, often overlooked him, while classmates transformed into tormentors, using him as a punching bag for their relentless bullying. Even the teachers, those who were meant to guide and protect, turned a blind eye to his plight. Despite it all, Izuku clung fervently to his dream of becoming a hero.
Another day at school unfolded, and Izuku limped slowly toward his desk, each step a reminder of the physical abuse he endured from those he once called friends, as well as his sister. The classroom was filled with the usual banter and grumbling as the teacher prepared to deliver yet another mundane assignment. "Alright class, settle down. It's time to jot down what you want to be when you grow up," he announced, his voice cutting through the clamor as he organized a stack of papers on his desk.
The students groaned in collective annoyance. "Who am I kidding? You all want to be heroes," the teacher quipped, tossing the papers into the air like confetti. The air buzzed with energy as each student activated their quirks, showcasing the unique powers that defined them in a world that so highly valued them. Yet, amid the whirlwind of light and excitement, Izuku remained a silent observer, yearning for a chance to shine.

Hey, teacher, don't lump us in with those extras!" Bakugo exclaimed, his voice slicing through the hum of discontent among the other students. They were murmuring amongst themselves, their complaints filling the air like static. The teacher glanced around the room before zeroing in on Bakugo and Izumi with a raised eyebrow. "Oh right, Bakugo and Izumi, you two are both aiming for UA, aren't you?" The words hung in the air, and a wave of surprise washed over the classmates, their whispers turning to a buzz of admiration.
"Wow, the acceptance rate is incredibly low," one student remarked, awe creeping into their voice as the rest of the class buzzed about how extraordinary Bakugo and Izumi were.
Then, the teacher's eyes flicked over to Izuku, a sly smirk appearing on their face. "Oh right, Izuku, aren't you planning to attend UA as well?" The classroom fell silent, tension thickening with disbelief. Laughter erupted as students pointed and jeered, their guffaws echoing off the walls. "Haha, yeah right! Like they would accept a quirkless loser like him!" one student taunted, and the room erupted into a chorus of mocking laughter.
Suddenly, Bakugo's and Izumi's voices cut through the jeers. "DEKU!" they shouted in unison, rushing toward Izuku's desk with a mix of protectiveness and urgency. "Didn't we tell you not to apply to— UA?" said Izumi as she made cracks on izuku's desk appear because of the pressure her hand was exerting.
"You better listen like the quirkless loser you are," said bakugo as mini explosions went off in his hand. "Alright settle down you can finish this after class," said the teacher as the two went back to their seats "This isn't over," said Izumi. After that class returned to normal as Izuku was writing in his journal things he could make to help him enter UA.
After the visit to the doctor izuku decided to make equipment that would help him become a hero so over the years izuku studied various subjects to help him achieve this goal such as Physics and Electronic Engineering and Izuku absorbed all that knowledge like a sponge to water his intelligence is above nezus the principal of the most prestige schools of Japan UA.
The only reason he is still in school is that he doesn't want his parents to know that he is a prodigy. After class was over and it was time to go home izuku was packing his things when someone grabbed his journal from his hand "Well what do we have here" said Izumi as she was the one that grabbed the journal "oh look at this support gear for becoming a hero uh when are you going to get it through your stupid head you can't become a hero no matter what you try" said Izumi how to throw the journal to bakugo and he destroyed it with his quirk.
Bakugo then gave the journal back to Izumi and threw it out the window "You know there is one way for you to get a quirk" said bakugo as Izuku looked at him hoping that there was a little chance for redemption but that little chance shattered into nothing when he said, "take a swan dive off the building and pray for a quirk in the next life". The two of them smiled while Izuku had his hair covered his eyes and they walked away laughing so after they did izuku grabbed all of his things and went to go get his journal from the koi pond "fucking bastards" said Izuku as he left for home.
Timeskip sludge incident
"Screw them, those pieces of shit," Izuku muttered under his breath as he trudged down the familiar path home, his fists clenched at his sides. Frustration boiled inside him as he replayed the day's events. "They were just standing there, doing nothing, acting like they didn't have the right quirks. What a load of crap! I've already come up with a dozen scenarios where they could have easily turned the tables." His voice was filled with indignation, echoing off the walls of the quiet street as he vented his anger.
As he finally reached his front door, a warm light spilled out from the kitchen, catching his eye. Curiosity piqued, he stepped inside, only to feel a surge of betrayal wash over him. There, in the heart of their home, his parents were joyously celebrating his sister Izumi's birthday, laughter and cheerful chatter filling the air. A cake adorned with candles sat on the table, glimmering in the soft light. Izuku's heart sank; it was his birthday too, yet he felt like a shadow in his own home. Unable to bear the sight, he turned on his heel and retreated to his room, slamming the door behind him, the sound echoing his discontent. Closed the door and got the first aid kit and started to tend to his wounds "Those assholes forgot that they had twins" said izuku as tears started to escape from his eyes " That's it I am done with this shit" said izuku as he finished his self-treatment and went and grabbed his school bag and grabbed all his belonging which wasn't much.
He waited till they fell asleep to run away he left a thumb drive and a note for when they finally noticed he was gone. He grabbed the toolbox he bought with the money he made mowing yards because his parent didn't even spend money on him only for their precious Izumi.
Izuku then went to the kitchen and grabbed dry and canned food even the can opener then izuku went to the front door and opened it only to look at the prison he once called home "Goodbye you pieces of shit" said Izuku as he left the house unaware that this will be a turning point in history.
