Switched at birth

It was the first morning that Holly and Poppy were having their first classes here at ever after high. Holly was getting ready to leave their dorm to go to class making a plan with her little sister her twin sister that was born 3 secs later than her that they were going to the hair salon after classes.

They hugged goodbye and as soon as Holly left Poppy's mirror phone went off and it was their nanna confusing the two girls for each other while Poppy was busy applying her lipstick.

Holly is that you? She asks. No I'm Poppy the younger twin. Yes hm I'm afraid I'm got some news. She stutters trying to find the correct words. You know how your sister is older by 3 secs? Well it seems I made a teeny tiny mistake.

It's actually you. The lipstick spreads to her cheek at Poppy's surprise. She runs over to the mirror pad wiping the lipstick off of her cheek. That would mean that Holly's destiny is Poppy's making her the next Rapunzel not Holly.

And Poppy explained that she was trying to find her own destiny and that she couldn't take that away from her that being the next Rapunzel meant everything to Holly and she had no idea how she was going to tell her.

Later Poppy was brushing Holly's hair looking all upset while Holly was going on about telling Apple that she knew her story better than anyone else but stopped when she saw her sister was sad. What's wrong? What's on your mind.

Poppy starts to say something but instead puts down the brush and shows her her new hairdryer instead. They then head over the teashop. So Daring climbed the tower like he does in his story and....

Ok I'm totally getting some twin vibes that you're not telling me something so what is it? Poppy was still understandably upset but didn't know how to tell her sister what their family had told her. Well you know how something but you....

And then she waited for the clocks to go off knowing that their convo would be interrupted because it would be too loud for her to continue something she'd rather not talk about. But that didn't stop Holly from asking Poppy the truth when they got back.

Once they were in their dorms again Holly had Poppy sit down so that they could talk about whatever it was that was bothering her. So she told her exactly what their nanna told Poppy that morning after Holly left the room. How she was really the older twin sister.

Leaving Holly to come to the same upsetting conclusion that it was Poppy that was supposed to be the next Rapunzel not herself. Even though Holly was looking forward to being the next Rapunzel. But they both knew how much being the next Rapunzel meant to Holly.

I'm supposed to be the next Rapunzel not you. Poppy told her. I liked being the new Rapunzel. And I liked being something new something else. Does anyone else know about this? No. No one.

Then how about we keep this our little secret. Holly places her hands on Poppy's shoulders. That way we can both get the destinies we want. They agreed as they linked pinkies. I love it thanks. Poppy tells her. I'm just trying to let my hair down. Holly told Poppy. And the twins were perfectly happy once again.
