"Let's get a Breyers Chips Ahoy and Oreo Pint." I laugh.

Alex chuckles, as I walk down the stairs to grab the keys to my car. He opens the house door, and leads me out. "Ladies first."

"You're such a dork." He shakes his head. "A cute one. Admit it."

"Mhmm no ❤️." He quivers his lip in a sad way, and I show him the middle finger. "You're so mean."

"Get used to it bitch."

He scoots back the seat as I start to pull out of the driveway, and head to Walmart.

There was a large wave of silence between us. I fake coughed to break it, and Alex twiddled his fingers.

"Soo- is there anything to actually do here?" That reminded me of the carousel and boats near the ocean.

"I guess there's one thing." I pull up to the Walmart and parked. "There's a romantic boat trip."

"That's sound so cheesy."

"You literally just asked if there was anything to do here."

"Yeah, but fun. Nothing fuckin looking at dolphins and drinking wine." I smile realizing how it would actually be, and continue thinking.

"That's why I love you. Genius romantic."

I go through the Walmart entrance and look for the ice cream isle. Alex points at chocolate sauce, and I glare at him.

"Let me be a kid you old hoe." My mouth goes wide at the insult and I laugh. "I didn't say anything."

He grabs the bottle, and looks at me in a pretentious way. I stare back at him and exchange glances with the cart and him.

"Hyoughh, yes!" He stares in through the glass door, and opens it. He held it up as if it were some sort of ancient relic, and yeets it into the cart.

I clap dramatically, and rush out of the isle fast. He turns to see me pass him, and starts waddling after me.

I notice a bunch of elderly people I pass, and realized the hazards so I stopped. Alex caught up, and we got donuts and Velveeta Mac n Cheese.

"Velveeta or Kraft." Alex asks, and I reply. "Velveeta is so much better than Kraft! Hello?" I explain, but Alex shakes his head no.

"Naaaw, Kraft is og and tastes like real cheese. Not melted shit." I grab a second box of Velveeta.

"Are you kidding me? Kraft uses literal dust for flavoring. It tastes like cheddar shit if it's not stirred well enough."

He holds my arms together and says very as a matter of factly, "You live under a rock!"

"Does my house look like a rock to you?" I respond countering him, but he chuckles. "When you're in it, yeah."

I open my mouth to say something, and I was going to but I see a familiar face turn the corner.

The memories come back to me, and I started feeling guilt and sadness. "Uhm, I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick."

He saw my expression change, and knew though. "Y/N, are you ok?"

I lied to him as his hand touched my shoulder. "Yeah! I'm totally ok." I smiled wide to convince him and he backs away.

"Uh, ok." I head around the corner into the restroom and take deep breaths.

Relax relax RELAX! Oh my fucking God. Why can't I just forget? For one second. For one day... For the rest of my life.

I splashed my face with cool water, and turned around to a voice. "Y/N?" I look back and see Cory there. "Oh... Hey."

Cory sighs and starts a conversation. "Did you just break down in a Walmart?" I nod, and tell her what happened.

"You saw him turn the corner and you felt guilty?" I elaborate to her. "Yeah, it kinda reminds me that it was my fault she died cuz he was there. And- I misunderstood."

She pats my back slowly, and sighs. "Leave this all behind you. It's been forever just forget." I make a face, and try to explain that I was trying.

"I can't. It's just a part of me by now." Cory looks at me with all her seriousness and wisdom and orders me.

"No, literally stop. It's in the past now and you can't change that." She wipes a tear from my eye and smiles.

"You are so much better than you see yourself Y/N. Just remember that." I sniffle and give a small ok before cleaning myself up and going back out to Alex.

Cory closely follows me and stops. "Oh, hi!" She smiles nervously at the ravenette with a beanie, and waves.

"Who's this?" He asks pointing her out, and I answer. "This is Cory, my friend I was texting on the porch."

Alex lights up, and grins back. "Nice to meet you!" She shakes his hand, and replies, "I've seen your YouTube videos! They're really funny."

Me and them talked for a while, before we realized it was getting awfully late in that Walmart.

"Alright, guys I don't wanna be a party pooper but it's kinda late." Alex checks his phone and rubs the back of his neck.

"Yeah, we're probably gonna head out. Alex's ice cream will probably be melted." Alex fake cries and me and Cory laughed.

"Nice talking! See you soon!" A smile spreads across my face as we step out into the warm air.

"We gotta run, my Chips Ahoy and Oreo ice cream is gonna melt-" he rushes past me with the cart, and I chase after him.

"NOT MY VELVEETA!" I yell trying to catch up, and Alex turns his head around and argues. "KRAFT IS BETTER, VELVEETA DOGWATER!"

I shake my head as I see the beanie boi start to unload the cart into my car. I help, and jump in to start it.

We drive back home, and I started to cook the Velveeta Macaroni. Alex was cooking his Kraft shit because he insisted and I laughed in the foolishness.

"Watch my Mac! I'm using the restroom!" I start down the hallway once I hear an MHM. I glance at my phone and type in my discord server a few things.

Then, I remember my food and rushed back into the kitchen after washing my hands.

"OH SHIT-"
