It's around midnight and Theo still hasn't come back to our apartment. I'm feeling sort of rejected because we were supposed to have a movie night, at eleven o clock.

I gather all the blankets and pillows from the couch and put them back on my bed.

I hear the door open, and sniffles followed close behind. I walk back into the living room, and see Theo with red puffy eyes.

"Shai? Shai!" Theo calls. I walk over to him, confusion within me. Why is Theo crying?

"What's wrong?" I press a hand to his back. Theo let's out a sob. I'm really worried.

"M-my mother just died. I got a phone call from my dad. She died in a car crash, and her funeral is in one week." Theo starts to cry again.

"Oh my God. That's terrible Theo," I engulf him in a huge hug as he sobs into my shoulder.

I couldn't imagine losing my mother. She is my bestfriend. So know I have to help Theo through his loss.

"I'm just going to go to bed," Theo pulls away and disappears into his bedroom.

I decide I'm also tired, and head to my room and go to bed.

"Shai?" I wake up with Theo standing at the foot of my bed. I slowly sit up, and through the darkness, I can see Theo's face blotchy with tears.

It kills me to see him like this. "Yes Theo?" He awkwardly shuffles his feet and shyly asks, "can I sleep in bed with you? I need some company." My heart swells at his cute confession.

"Of course sweetheart. C'mere." I beckon him over and make room on the bed.

Theo lies next to me, I wrap my arms around him and protectively place my hand on the back of his head.

"Shai?" Theo sobs into my ribcage. I hold him tighter and kiss a tear that was falling down his cheek.

"This shouldn't have happened to you. I'm not going to say sorry, because I'm sure that's the last thing you want to hear. But I will always be here for you." His sobs cease as he calms down.

"Thank you Shai. I love you."

Theo James loves me?
