"W-what?" I can barely think right now. There is no way this is true.

"I love you," he mumbles, already drifting to sleep. "I plan to for a long time."

Theo falls asleep, cuddled into my side. The dried tears still on his face. I wipe the remaining tears and think about what he said.

Theo said he loved me, is that even true? I hope so because I love him.

I drift off to sleep.

"Don't go," as I try to get up from the bed, since it is now morning, but we have a break from filming for a few weeks, since we informed Neil about Theo's mom.

"I have too. Come on," I usher gently. Theo gives me a small smile and hops out of bed.

"Shai? I have a question, which you can totally say no to." He sucks in a breath, "will you come to my mothers funeral with me?"

I have never met Theo's mother, since she lived all the way in London. But I think I should go with Theo.

"Okay, I will. Do you want some breakfast?" I figure he will want to change the subject.

"Can we just get McDonald's? I really want a breakfast sandwich." I haven't had McDonald's in nine years. It's really not healthy for you.

"I'll take you there, but I won't eat anything." I quickly shovel some eggs in my mouth.

"Ugh, my mother wants to meet up," I really miss my mom but I don't think leaving Theo alone right now is the best thing.

"Right now?" Theo looks up from the book he's reading, with a cute expression on his face.

"Yeah. She has my Niece Bree. Who I haven't seen in a long time, due to filming and all." I pucker my lips as if I tasted something sour. Before filming, I would see my little girl everyday. We would get ice cream and head to the beach.

"Go see her Shai, I can tell you miss her. I'll be fine," Theo waves me off.

I smile gratefully. I grab my car keys and quickly kiss Theo on the cheek.

"Thanks Theo. I'll see you soon," I rush out the door with a wave of my hand.

"Shae! Shae!" Bree smiles and rushes over to me, her curly blond hair flying around her eyes.

"Bree! You've grown so much!" I pull her into my arms and kiss Bree's temple.

"I a big girl now, Shae, Shae!" Bree wraps her arms around my neck, before pressing a kiss to my cheek.

My mother, Lori. And my brother Tanner walk in. Yes, Tanner is Bree's dad. He's twenty one now. He had Bree at age sixteen. My mother, of course wasn't very happy. But Tanner claimed he loved this girl, and would stay with her till the very end.

And he did! He stepped up to being a father, and stayed with the mother, Katrina.

"Shai, I haven't seen you in so long!" Tanner squeezes my shoulders since Bree is in my arms.

"Tanner! Why haven't you come see me dude?" I poke him playfully with my free hand.

He puts a face of mock hurt on, but pokes me back.

"Too busy for you," I pretend to cry as Bree glares at Tanner.

"Not nice Dada! You made her cwy, say sorry." I try to conceal my laughter and I think Tanner is too.

"I sorry." Tanner kisses my cheek. Bree puts on a satisfied smile, "ice cream!" She suddenly changes the topic. I chuckle and set her back down. We are at McDonald's, so Tanner and Bree rush to the counter to get ice cream.

Me and my mom take a seat at a booth. She grabs my hands from across the table, and holds them in her own.

"So how are you Shailene?" She brushes at my knuckles. "Katrina has been wondering about you." Me and Katrina are also good friends.

"Well I've been doing okay. Theo is still a mess, I'm going with him to his mothers funeral for support." Mom sighs. "That poor boy. I'm sure he's so grateful for you Shailene." I shrug, while a pink tint covers my cheeks.

I'm sure Theo could do just fine without me. We aren't dating, even though I wish we were.

I will willingly admit it. I am in love with Theo James. But he will probably won't go out with me. I know he said that he loved me, but does he really?

"Auntie Shae Shae! I got chocwate ice cweam," Bree comes back with a chocolate dipped cone. Tanner slowly trails behind her, with a milkshake.

I smile at her, and make room on my seat for Bree. She slides in next to me, with a huge smile on her face.

We visit for the next few hours, then we all head home.

{Theo's point-of-view}

I sit in my own sorrow, thinking about everything that's happened this week. It's so much easier with Shai here, because I don't get lost in my troubles with her around.

I let out a sob and a few tears fall down my face, as I begin to think about my mother. I just miss her so much.

I hear the front door open, Shai. I hurriedly wipe my tears as she walks into the living room.

"Oh Theo," she mumbles, seeing my blotchy face. She sits next to me on the couch and embraces me in a hug.

"I know what it feels like," she mutters. "To lose somebody you love." I feel anger as she tells me this. How could she possibly know?

"How do you know?!" I shove her off of me. "You have a perfectly great life Shailene! You have people that love and care about you! I don't!" I immediately regret saying all those things.

Shai has tears running down her cheeks. She sobs and more tears fall. "I know what it feels like," she chokes "where do you think my dad is?! He's dead Theo! I have been nothing but supporting and kind to you Theo. I can see your really grateful." And with that, she heads to her room.
