Three months later

I sit on the couch drinking my tea peacefully, when my cellphone starts to ring.

I pick it up off the nightstand and press the answer button.

"Is this Shailene Woodley?"
"Um, yes?"
"You were in Theo James emergency contact. He's been in an accident. He is currently at memorial hospital."

I don't let him finish. I hang up the phone and rush outside to my car.

Please be okay Theo.

I wait patiently for Shailene to get here. Before she hung up the phone, the doctor was going to tell her all I did was broke my leg and arm, and have bruised ribs.

My arm is in a black cast, but my leg is in the type of cast you can walk in, so that's good.

My ribs throb impatiently as I wait for Shai. Finally, I hear the door to my room being opened.

"Theo?! Are you okay? They explained your condition to me, and what happened." She gives me a sympathetic smile.

I was going at a green light, when someone went at a red light. So I got t-boned. My car is completely damaged, so hopefully Shai will let me borrow her car.

"Yeah I'm fine. Am I allowed to leave?" Shai nods her head and offers me her arm, which I gratefully lean some of my weight on.

"Do you need anything?" Shai runs around the kitchen like a madwoman. I roll my eyes. She's been treating me like I can't do anything on my own. And it's annoying the crap out of me.

"No Shai! I can do things for myself, god!" I snap. Her face crumbles in hurt, as she looks down.

"I'm sorry Theo. I can't do anything right can I?" She whispers. I immediately feel terrible, for hurting the only person I'm certain I love.

"No, I'm sorry. I was a real jerk. Just come lay with me," I gesture her over.

"Alright," Shai curls her body into my side as we lay on the couch.

This is how life is suppost to be.

So I was thinking, after this story is done, I might write another sheo story with longer chapters, and more plot twists.
