You are probably going to hate me after this chapter. I watched a bunch of sad videos, which put me in a bad mood.
So blame it on that.

"Yeah mom! He proposed, isn't that totally rad!" I am currently on the phone with my mom, who will not stop bugging me.

"...Okay, love you too. Bye." I click off my phone. That went better then expected.

I peek out our bedroom door, where Theo is talking to his dad. I wince as I hear yelling.

"....Because I love her dad! For the millionth time, I love Shai. Not Ruth! Don't you want me to be happy?" Theo snapped.

Okay.

So obviously Theo's dad didn't want us to be together.

I made myself some lemon-lavender tea, which helps with stress. Which is what I'm feeling right now.

So... Theo's father didn't want us to be together. And my mom wants us together.

This is extremely confusing.

I pour the tea in my bright violet colored mug, and take a seat on the couch.

Theo storms in the room, running his hands through his hair, before turning to me.

"Shai, I'll be back soon. I need some time on my own." Theo frowns.

Oh no.

Time "alone" = drunk. For Theo James.

"Baby please, stay-"

But he was already gone.

Theo's point-of-view

I woke up next to some blond chick, who I instantly knew.

Wasn't Shailene.

Oh god! Oh god! I start to panic, noticing we aren't wearing any clothes.

I fucked up.

I cheated on the only girl I loved, right after I proposed to her.

I'm such a disgusting jerk.

I hurriedly put on my clothes, trying not to wake the girl up.

Tears form in my eyes. As I realize what Shailenes going to do.
