The fire was crackling as the elderly man gazed into the flames.
"Grandfather!"
He looks up at the three kids. All quiet tall, the smallest holding onto the blonde's hand and hiding behind the two.
"Hello Tommy. Ranboo, Tubbo."
The man greeted happily, looking at the trio.
"Mother says we have to go to bed-" "But she said we could stay up longer if you tell us a bedtime story!"
Tommy started but Tubbo finished for him as they all looked hopefully at their grandfather. He sighed dramatically and acted like he was in deep thought.
"Fine you can stay up and listen if you three promise to be good."
They all nodded in agreement to the conditions and made a half circle around the man, looking hopeful.
"What story shall I recite for you kiddies?" "The one about the pirates!" "Yeah I love that one!" "Captain SapNap is my favourite!" "No way, Lieutenant Wilbur is definitely the best!" "Nuh uh!" Yeah uh!" "Boys! I said it was good!"
The two went quiet, their grandfather holding RanBoo a strawberry candy for being quiet, both looking miffed about this but holding their tongues.
"So, you want me to tell you about the Great Pirates On Lady Yearn?"
They all nodded and the old man smiled.
"Well let me start then..."
